Ammy Virk announces release date of 'Nikka Zaildar 4'

The poster features Ammy Virk and Guggu Gill in a very different avatars against the colourful backdrop of wedding celebrations.The trailer is full of fun, laughter and stirring emotions.Helmed by director Simerjit Singh. Apart from Ammy Virk and Guggu Gill, 'Oye Makhna,' also stars Tania and Sidhika Sharma and is made under the banner of Yoodlee Films in association with Ammy Virk Productions and Simerjit Productions. The film has been written by Rakesh Dhawan.The poster and the trailer have heightened the anticipation for 'Oye Makhna,' which was already at a fever pitch after the release of the film's first foot-tapping song, 'Chad Gayi Chad Gayi' sung by Neha Kakkar. Director Simerjit Singh, said, "I take the job of entertaining the audience very seriously. It takes a lot to keep an audience engaged and this film has it all. It is a romance, a great family film and a story that audiences of all generations will relate to. Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu dies in tragic accident; Ammy Virk condoles his death

Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu passed away on Tuesday, February 15, following a tragic car accident. The actors car reportedly collided with a truck at around 8:30 pm on the Manesar-Palwal expressway in Haryanas Sonipat district near the Singhu border. He reportedly passed away on the way to the hospital.According to India Today, his girlfriend Reena Rai was in the car and survived due to the airbag. The police said, "Reena was on the left side of the car which was not heavily damaged. After the accident, the airbag on Reena's side opened immediately, saving her life. Reena was wearing a seatbelt and her airbag did not burst after opening. However, the airbag exploded after opening in the case of Deep Sidhu."Punjab Chief Minister remembered Deep Sidhu in a tweet that read, "Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate demise of renowned actor and social activist, #DeepSidhu. Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer Puaada, a punjabi language word meaning panga, will be the first Punjabi film to release in cinemas in over a year. This mad, desi, comedy, romance for the whole family is all set to release in on 11th March, 2021, exactly one year after cinemas shut down in last March.Puaada was initially set to release in the summer of June 2020, a period perfect for family popcorn entertainers and these are the same audiences the makers are aiming to bring back to cinemas this spring, as they kick start their marketing campaign with the release date announcement of the film.The film is made by A&A Pictures and Brat Films, the two companies that brought the mega blockbuster Shadaa starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa to screens in June 2019. Puaada is directed by debutante Rupinder Chahal, produced by Atul Bhalla, Pawan Gill, Anurag Singh, Aman Gill, Balwinder Singh Janjua, and this time the makers have Zee Studios on board as well. Zee Studios have acquired the entire worldwide rights of the film including theatrical, music, digital and satellite and are chalking out big release plans for the same.With this film, the makers are hoping Punjabi cinemas will bounce back to the peak they were at before the pandemic started and the results are as good for Punjabi cinema as they have been for a recent Tamil blockbuster that just released to packed cinemas.
