The Lady Bird and Little Women actress Saoirse Ronan is set to play the lead in The Outrun, an adaptation of Amy Liptrots best-selling memoir, the new film from The Unforgivable director Nora Fingscheidt. Fingscheidt and Liptrot have adapted the book for the screen.According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ronan, a four-time Oscar nominee, will play Rona, a woman fresh out of rehab who, after more than a decade away, returns to Scotlands wild Orkney Islands and to the sheep farm of her childhood, in the adaptation of Amy Liptrots best-selling memoir of the same name.Liptrots memoir, a Sunday Times top 10 bestseller, won the 2016 Wainwright Prize and the 2017 PEN Ackerley Prize. The book was translated into 15 languages and has sold more than 110,000 copies in the U.K. alone. Rebecca Watson of VHA negotiated the film deal for the book on behalf of James Macdonald Lockhart of Antony Harwood Ltd.Sarah Brocklehursts Brock Media optioned The Outrun and will produce the film alongside Ronan, Jack Lowden and Dominic Norris under their new shingle Arcade Pictures together with Ignacio Salazar-Simpson and Ricardo Marco Bud of Mogambo. Jonas Weydemann and Jakob D. Weydemann of Germanys Weydemann Bros. will co-produce together with BBC Film and Screen Scotland, which supported the projects development. Protagonist is executive producing and arranged financing.On the work front, Fingscheidts debut feature, SystemCrasher, premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2019, winning the Silver Bear Alfred Bauer Prize, and sweeping the German Film Awards, winning eight Lolas, including best picture and best director for Fingscheidt. Fingscheidts English-language follow-up was Netflix hit TheUnforgivable starring Sandra Bullock, a feature adaptation of a U.K. TV series about a woman navigating her freedom after 20 years in prison.

While there have already been announcements on a number of bio-pics based on sports personalities and freedom fighters, we hear that Tauranis are looking to develop a bio-pic on Marathi actor Nilu Phule. As per sources, it is learned that Kumar Taurani will be leading the project and is looking to start this year itself.Confirming the same Kumar Taurani says, Yes, we have acquired the rights to develop a biopic on Nilu Phule from his daughter Gargi Nilkant Phule, and are looking to commence work on the project this year itself. Ask for details about the casting and Taurani remains tight-lipped about the same. As for the film itself, the said bio-pic will follow Phules life as an actor, a freedom fighter, and a social activist.For the unversed, Nilu Phule is one of the greatest actors in Marathi films and theatres of all time. He began his career with a Marathi folk play Katha Aklechya Kandyachi. He has also worked in numerous films beginning with Ek Gaav Baara Bhanagadi in 1956. He has also worked in Hindi cinema alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Coolie, with Dileep Kumar in Mashal, and with Anupam Kher in Saaransh. While he was known for his portrayal of villains onscreen, in real life he worked towards the betterment of society. Nilu Phule passed away at the age of 78 in 2009.

Filmmaker Sajid Samji of the writer-director duo Sajid-Farhad has announced his first solo directorial. Titled Hari UP, the film is presented by TIPS Industries, Bay Films, and Prernaa V Arora. Shivin Narang will be the lead actor in the film.Presenter Kumar Taurani ji says, "TIPS is contributing one of the best music for Hari UP the film has an important social message, the music of the film is a different attempt from us to surprise the audience with something very special, we have already worked with Sajid in the past and its a great experience collaborating with Prernaa."Prernaa V Arora says, "How my film Toilet Ek Prem Katha brought a contribution to the society this film is also based on the teachings of our Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi ji and is an attempt to bring a change in the society, the message this time is 'HridayPariwartan'. This film will be entirely shot in the holy place of India, Kashi a spiritual and the holiest of cities in Hinduism. It is also called the city of light.

Sony Entertainment Televisions popular show Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye has managed to garner popularity. The show is all set for a new twist in its plot as actor Gurdeep Kohli will be soon making an entry. Gurdeep's entry will spice up things between Amrit aka Gracy Goswami and Randheer aka Zaan Khan.Gurdeep will enter the show as Kaveri Pratab Singh who will be an antagonist in Amrit and Randheers life after the death of Veer's aka Kunal Jaisingh. The storyline will focus on how Kaveris greed makes her want to get a hold of Rani Nalinis throne. It would be interesting for the viewers to watch how her entry would generate the much-anticipated drama in the show.Talking about her entry, Gurdeep Kohli said, "I am very excited to play the role of Kaveri. This is going to be unique as well as challenging because of the grey shade my character will bring out. She is not only negative in nature but greedy as well, and it will be very interesting for the viewers to see the storm she brings about in the lives of Amrit, Randheer and Nalini. Studio lot in Burbank for a real-life unscripted celebration of the beloved show. They talked about shooting the show for 10 years, how much they stay in contact, some unseen memories, and more. While it had a star-studded guest list, many of them were deleted from China's broadcasting.According to Entertainment Weekly, "The country even acquired three major streaming platforms to broadcast the show to fans: iQiyi, Alibaba's Youku, and Tencent Video.""All three cut around six minutes of footage, entirely deleting appearances by musicians BTS, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, as well as LGBTQ fans, among other scenes," Variety reported.A fan's appearance talking about their coming out and wanting to get a hairstyle like Rachel. Both the characters were prominent characters in the series. Director of the reunion special episode Ben Winston spoke to The Wrap and revealed why the two actors couldn't be part of it. So you cant have too many cameos because of course, there were hundreds of amazing people who were in Friends over the years. A few days ago, Juhi confirmed that she is bidding goodbye to the star cast of the show.But, now it is revealed that Juhi is bidding goodbye to her character in the show and not to the show. Juhi will be back in the show playing a totally different character of Meera this time. The show will soon take a 1-month leap in its plot. Juhi's character Meera will be very different from her previous role Renuka. The character will be a strong, driven and passionate individual who works as a social worker and runs an NGO. Meera also teaches dance to young girls during her free time.Talking to a tabloid, Juhi said that she is really happy to return to Hamariwali Good News in a new character and avatar. Talking about her character, she said that Meera is a modern woman, who loves to wear new indo-western outfits. She further also compared her characters Meera and Renukaad and said that they are completely different, but their core ideals are the same. She said that both Meera and Renuka are pure and kind-hearted women. Renuka believes in doing what is right and believes in humanity, which is exactly how Meera is as well. Juhi believes both the characters are unique in their own way but Meera is todays girl and relatable to all the young women .Hamari Wali Good News features Juhi Parmar as the mother-in-law who turned into a surrogate mother for her daughter-in-law Navya played by Srishti Jain.
