Anshuman Jha has welcomed his first child with wife Sierra Winters.The couple welcomed the baby girl on March 10 in the United States.Anshuman and Sierra have named their little angel as 'Tara Jha Winters'.Anshuman shared this news on his Instagram handle and captioned it, "I am grateful for the night, for it brought us our star. Tara."Expressing his gratitude, Anshuman shared, "I am really grateful that Sierra and 'Tara' are both healthy & safe. And we feel truly blessed to have an angel. I have been raised by my mother, my elder sister is the reason why I could pursue acting and I have always had a lot of female influence in my life through my cousin sisters as well. So in a way, I am matriarchal. In the US, it is legal to find out if it is a girl or boy but we intentionally didn't find out because we wanted to have a surprise. And we are thrilled to have our daughter. Sierra's mom and dad are here and I believe grandparents are a blessing for a child. Sierra came up with the name, Tara & I loved it." The couple have kept both surnames; so their daughter will be known as 'Tara Jha Winters'."In addition to their joyous news, the couple have made a conscious decision not to share photos of their daughter in the initial phase of her life, citing their conservative approach towards their baby's privacy. SOn this, Anshuman said, 'Some things don't need to be shared. In a world that is obsessed with counting likes, followers - I count my blessings and keep it private'Anshuman and Sierra tied the knot in 2022.Meanwhile, on the work front, Anshuman will be coming up with ''Hari-Om'. In the film, veteran singer Asha Bhosle lent her voice to one of the songs.Sharing more details about the track, Anshuman said, "It's surreal to have met Asha Ji. So grateful that she has sung 'Zindagi Tu Chupi Hai Kahan' in her inimitable style. She also loved the Lakadbaggha trailer and told me she had met Bruce Lee in 1971 which made the meeting even more special. I asked her what he was like and she very kindly shared.""The track is called 'Zindagi Tu Chupi Hai Kahan', it's a feel good, slice of life track which is filmed of the journey which the father (Raghuvir Yadav as Hari) and the son (Anshuman Jha as Om) take through Varanasi," he added.More details regarding the film are awaited.

Speaking about it, Anshuman said, "Having your mom around is critical at this time - for the mother and the child. I wish my mom was around. And Sierra is blessed to have her mom and dad by her side. While it is legal in America to know whether it's a boy or a girl - the couple have intentionally chosen to not find out. We want to be surprised. Let nature take its course. The child is not coming from us, it is only coming through us and we will be grateful for whatever God blesses us with. We are very grateful. Anshuman Jha-starrer 'Lakadbaggha' to have its European Premiere at the prestigious 20th Indisches Film Festival Stuttgart, 2023.The duo will soon travel to Germany for the film's special screening in July.Excited about it, Ridhi and Anshuman said in a statement, "We are excited and grateful that our love letter to dogs is breaking the language barrier & will reach an audience in Germany. Anshuman JhaRidhi Dogra and Milind Soman-starrer action-thriller 'Lakadbaggha' is all set to start its OTT journey.Set in Kolkata, the film follows Arjun (Anshuman Jha), a loner who teaches martial arts to children during the day and turns into a saviour of the street dogs during the night. During his hunt for a lost dog, he comes across an endangered species of an Indian striped hyena (Lakadbaggha) and learns about an illegal animal trade operation in Kolkata. Will he be able to reunite with his dog while also helping other animals or will he be chased down by crime branch officer Akshara (Riddhi Dogra) who is tasked with the responsibility to find the hooded vigilante whose identity remains mysterious.'Lakadbaggha' is the story of an animal lover vigilante vs an animal abuser kingpin. He is ordinary & that's his super power. This is a universal film with an Indian soul set in Kolkata & the action is nothing like anything you have seen before."Ridhi also shared her experience working on the film. "Lakadbaggha is truly a special film - it has action thrill but also a soul. Akshara, my character is the grey between the world's of the protagonist and the antagonist. It is obviously special for its my big screen debut. And I can't wait for the world to watch it in January 2023," she added.Victor Mukherjee has helmed 'Lakadbaggha', which also stars Paresh Pahuja.

84-year-old Elmer Hall officiated the wedding and blessed the couple, while Anshuman's friend and fellow actor Paresh Pahuja was his 'Best Man'.The couple will be flying to Alaska for their honeymoon and the Indian leg of the wedding will happen in March. After which Anshuman will be back for the promotions of his upcoming winter release 'Lakadbaggha'. At the same time, Sierra will be flying to Israel in November mid-week to participate in the Iron Man championship on November 25.Talking about his special day Anshuman shared, "Sierra always dreamt of a 'fall' season wedding, Sam (her Dad) always dreamt of rowing her across the lake, my mom's dream was to see me married, I always dreamt of finding a partner who inspires me - A lot of dreams came true this day & I'm sure Ma was watching. It was a perfect day & we only have gratitude for the universe. Marriage aint a noun, it's a verb & we feel blessed to be entering this phase together."
