Rajinikanth heads to Hyderabad for 'Vettaiyan' shooting

Rajinikanth is all set to come up with the upcoming film 'Vettaiyan'. On Saturday, he headed to Hyderabad for shooting of the movie.In the videos captured by paps, Rajinikanth was seen making his way towards the airport entrance. During media interaction, he talked about 'Vettaiyan' and said, "75 per cent of the shoot is over. As of now, the next movie is not finalised."'Vettaiyan', directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film also features legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, actors Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh. The film will be released in the latter part of 2024.Rajinikanth has joined hands with ace producer Sajid Nadiadwala.Recently, the social media handle of Nadiadwala Grandson dropped a picture of Rajinikanth with Sajid Nadiadwala."It's a true honour to collaborate with the legendary Rajinikanth Sir! Anticipation mounts as we prepare to embark on this unforgettable journey together," Nadiawala said in a post on X.More details regarding the duo's collaboration are awaited.Rajinikanth was last seen in his daughter Aishwarya's film 'Lal Salaam'. The Tamil-language sports drama tackles themes of caste oppression and religious discrimination and opened to mixed reviews. Lal Salaam stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles, while Rajinikanth is seen in an extended cameo as Moideen Bhai.

Rainbow Rishta', on Monday, announced the show's official streaming date.Taking to Instagram, OTT platform Amazon Prime Video shared the series' poster which they captioned, "love is brave, fearless, bright and everything we are! #RainbowRishtaOnPrime, Nov 7."'Rainbow Rishta', an unscripted docu-series that follows six inspiring and heartwarming queer love stories.Soon after the makers shared the poster of the docu-series, several users swamped down the comment section and dropped red hearts and fire emoticons."So excited for this one," a fan commented.A user wrote, "Woohoooooo," followed by multiple red heart emoticons.The six-part docuseries is directed by Jaydeep Sarkar, along with story directors Hridaye A. Rajinikanth jets off to Kochi for shooting of his next movie

Rajinikanth, who is gearing up for upcoming projects on Tuesday jetted off to Kochi for the shooting of his next.Rajinikanth posed for the paparazzi outside Chennai airport and shared details about his Kochi trip. "I am going for the next movie shooting. 'Jailer' movie is more successful than what we expected. 170th movie is directed by T J Gnanavel. It is Produced by LYCA which would be a big entertainment movie with a message. The title for the movie is yet to be decided," he said.Recently, the makers of 'Lal Salaam' unveiled the poster and release date of the film.Sharing the first poster, the official account of Lyca Productions took to X and wrote, Lal Salaam to hit screens on Pongal 2024."The new poster features Rajinikanth and Vishnu Vishal with an old tomb building in the background. It also radiates old vibes, depicting Rajinikanth standing in front of a vintage car, with a red colour palette as the name of the movie suggests.Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwaryaa, who has helmed the film, also shared the poster on Instagram, writing, #thankful #grateful #blessed #lalsalaam Pongal 2024.The makers announced that the film will be released in theatres during the festival of Pongal in January 2024.Earlier, Aishwaryaa shared the first-look poster on Instagram. "After completing major shooting schedules at different locations across the country, the makers of Pushpa: The Rule will be starting their new schedule from tomorrow. While all the pre-production work for the new schedule has been done, the actors including Allu Arjun and others will start shooting for the big screen extravaganza from tomorrow (Sunday)," the source said in a statement."Interestingly, its learnt that the cast is going to shoot some important scenes at Ramoji Rao film city in Hyderabad with huge sets being erected at the place. He said that the natural beauty of Uttarakhand is attracting filmmakers to come to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Every possible cooperation will be given by the state government for filming in the state. Whatever suggestions are received from the people associated with the film world, those suggestions are taken very seriously.Prasoon Joshi, the chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification and a well-known lyricist, met with Chief MinisterPushkar Singh Dhami in the Chief Minister's Camp Office on Monday. He thanked the Chief Minister for establishing the cultural centre in Dehradun. According to him, there is a fast-growing tendency among filmmakers to shoot in Uttarakhand. He recommended that a research centre be constructed together with a cultural centre. Literature festivals and workshops can also be organized in this cultural centre.He said that efforts will have to be made to take various stories based on Uttarakhand and its art and culture to the international level.
