Keerthy Suresh to star in 'KGF' makers Tamil movie 'Raghuthatha'

The film is written and directed by the award-winning 'Family Man' writer Suman Kumar, making his directorial debut. The film went on floors this month and aims to release theatrically in the Summer of 2023.Hombale Films is on a roll with two raging hits this year including KGF Chapter 2 and Kantara. Continuing their successful year, they've announced another new movie Raghuthatha, a woman-centric story on a subject that will touch the hearts of many. Smart, determined, forceful when needed but sympathetic too, that's how the character of Keerthy Suresh has been defined in the movie. On the release of the poster, producer Vijay Kiragandur said- 'Raghuthatha is a comedy-drama about a strong and determined woman who finds her unique voice by challenging norms, upholding her principles, fighting for them and eventually becoming an inspiration to everyone. Mini Mathur and Cyrus Sahukar are back with the second season of Amazon Prime Video's 'Mind the Malhotras'.The new season will premiere in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide on August 12.On Wednesday, the makers unveiled the trailer of the show.While the first season gave viewers a peek into Rishabh and Shefali's (Cyrus and Mini) mid-life and marital crisis-filled life, the next one will see them try to reignite the fire between them.Excited about the show, Mini said, "We're FINALLY back, and how! Playing Shefali Malhotra has given me enormous love, appreciation, and admiration from the audience."She added, "I'm super-excited to get into the skin of my character again, give her some more shades and grow as an actor. I hope that Rishabh and Shefali's not-so-perfect life tugs at the heartstrings of viewers just like the previous season. The cricketer took to social media to announce that the couple has been blessed with a baby boy.He captioned the post, "Blessed with a Baby boy" with blue hearts, and added, "Shukar aa Tera maalka." The announcement note read, "A new little hand for us to hold, his love is grand, precious as gold. A wonderful gift, so special and sweet. Our hearts are full, our lives complete. We thank the Almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy. Both Geeta and the baby are doing well. Angira Dhar walks out of Dongri to Dubai over date clash; Kritika Kamra to now play Haseena Parkar

The pandemic caused a major delay in several projects in the film industry. Shoots of all films and web series were brought to a halt for months during the pandmeic. While shoots have now resumed it has caused havoc in the scheduling of actors and has led to some change in casting.Actor Angira Dhar who was to play the role of Haseena Parkar in the web series Dongri To Dubai has bowed out of the project. The web series directed by Shujat Saudagar has Avinash Tiwary play the role of Dawood Ibrahim. The shoot of the series was resumed recently at Madh Island in Mumbai. Reportedly, Angira has to now shoot for Ajay Devgn's MayDay. The makers of Dongri to Dubai also required the actress on the same dates and so Angira decided to walk out of the project.Kritik Kamra will now play the role of Dawood's sister Haseena in the web series. Kamra was last seen in the recently released web series Tandav. Dongri To Dubai is based on a book by Hussain Zaidi.
