Darshan Ashwin Trivedi is all set to remake 'Ek Ruka Hua Faisla', a 1986 classic legal drama directed by Basu Chatterjee.'Ek Ruka Hua Faisla' is among the director's most acclaimed films and is considered the biggest courtroom drama in Indian films.The incredible ensemble cast includes Atul Kulkarni, Suvinder Vikki, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Neeraj Kabi, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Kani Kusruti, Hemant Kher, Samvedna Suwalkar, Luke Kenny, and Manu Rishi Chaddha.Taking to Instagram, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the announcement.He wrote, "REMAKE OF BASU CHATTERJEE'S 'EK RUKA HUA FAISLA' ANNOUNCED... The film already has a legacy. The biggest challenge for me was to look at the movie from a fresh perspective in the current time. Without the Jury System, the film had to be positioned most believably. The narrative has been created after taking advice from law researchers. I am looking forward to the film."Describing the changes in the story and the sensibilities of the times, producer Anil Mevada said, "I have always been an avid film watcher, and after watching Ek Ruka Hua Faisla, I got fascinated with the idea of recreating this film for today's audience. We have added women to the Commission, in place of 'only male jury' members in the film by Basu Chatterjee. First and foremost, we had to make it relevant to today and then cast 12 actors who had to be on par as performers, as they were all going to be in every scene of the entire film. Bollywood actor Vijay Raaz was arrested by the Gondia Police in a molestation case. Reportedly, he was later let go on bail by a local court on Tuesday.According to Atul Kulkarni, Additional SP, Gondia the actor was arrested from Gondia on Monday allegedly for molesting a woman crew member. The actor was shooting for his upcoming film Sherni in Madhya Pradesh when the incident took place.Vijay Raaz is popularly known for his role in movies like Run, Dhamaal, Welcome, Deewane Hue Paagal, Mumbai Xpress, and Monsoon Wedding. He was last seen in the web series A Suitable Boy.

Laal Singh Chaddha has been his dream project for the past 18 years as it is the remake of Tom Hanks' starrer Forrest Gump.Aamir has shot for major parts of the film and has undergone some major physical transformation. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the leading lady and now, writer Atul Kulkarni thinks that the film might release next year as opposed to its December scheduled release. Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha has increased the anticipation of the audience and the fans cant wait to see what Aamir Khan has in store for them. But, in the wake of Coronavirus, the makers might have to delay the release and push it to next year. It was earlier slated to release around Christmas, like most of Aamir Khan's movies.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kamal Haasan came together on the big screen for one of the most unconventional projects, Hey Ram.The bilingual film, that also stars Rani Mukerji Hema Malini , Atul Kulkarni amongst others, featured Shah Rukh in a rather different avatar. Now we hear that the superstar has gone ahead and bought the rights of Hey Ram.Shah Rukh Khan and Kamal Haasan were recently seen reminiscing about their shooting days when they met at event. The duo was present amidst several Bollywood dignitaries during a press conference that was held in Mumbai. It was to welcome popular Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan. During the same, Shah Rukh and Kamal Haasan got to talking about Hey Ram and it was then, Kamal reportedly revealed to the media that the superstar has indeed purchased the rights of the film. Speaking on the same, Kamal Haasan revealed that Shah Rukh Khan had done the film without any money. It was friendly gesture of the superstar, who appears in the film in a small yet crucial role. Further, Haasan said that Shah Rukh only received a watch as a token of appreciation from him as Kamal had already out of budget during the shoot of the film. For the uninitiated, Hey Ram was directed and produced by Kamal Haasan. Further confirming about Shah Rukh Khan buying rights of Hey Ram , Kamal also added that the superstar bought the rights from Bharat Shah who was also the co-producer. He also maintained that Shah Rukh should have a memory of the film since he gave his friendship and service for it. Talking about Hey Ram , the film switches between the pre-Independence and post-Independence era as an 80 year old Ram aka Kamal Haasan tells his life story to his grandson, a historical fiction writer as a part of his upcoming novel. The story unveils with Ram developing hatred towards Gandhian ideology after the brutal rape and death of his wife played by Rani Mukerji. His friendship with Amjad aka Shah Rukh Khan also plays an important role which brings a crucial change in Rams character. Hey Ram released in Tamil and Hindi in the year 2000.
