Ayan Mukerji reveals he has started working on 'Brahmastra Part 2: Dev'

Brahmastra' director Ayan Mukherji is currently riding high on the mega box-office success of the film. And while there is a lot of anticipation surrounding the next part of the trilogy series, Ayan has confirmed that he has started working on it!Ayan took to his Instagram to thank the audience for the love they gave to the film and further revealed that he is back to work. He wrote, "I didn't think I would be ready to get back to work as soon as this first baby was delivered, but the Energy from our Audiences has given me the Energy to jump straight back into it...!'Brahmastra' crossed INR 300 crores (gross) worldwide on Monday and to celebrate the milestone, Ayan wrote, "BRAHMASTRA Part One is 11 days old today, and on this Monday (day of Shiv) putting out some good pure energy for...What the Film has achieved so far!"He added, "the Journey will continue over the next few weeks as the festive season comes upon us! All the Audience Feedback we have received (good, and not so good) - all of which we are absorbing and learning deeply from!!"He also wrote, "All the AMAZING Fan Theories out there (some of which we're definitely going to use in our Future!)... Brahmastra' continues a successful run at the box office, director Ayan Mukherji announced that 'Brahmastra' unreleased songs to be on Dussehra.Taking to his Instagram handle, Ayan treated fans with a new video and announcements.Sharing the video, he wrote, "Some News on The Music Album Of Brahmastra. There is a lot of Music in the movie which we haven't released, yet. Like... Rasiya... our Shiva Theme... other versions of our Main Songs... other Themes...The main reason is that we needed to focus on finishing the movie properly pre-release, and couldn't do justice to launching these tracks properly."He added, "This is just a general shout-out to say that we are resuming this Journey with focus and excitement now... that we plan to launch Rasiya and other tracks starting early next week...And we plan to have our entire Brahmastra Music Album complete and released - by DUSSEHRA, Oct. 5th ! #musicofbrahmastra."In the video, a glimpse of the movie's songs including 'Kesariya,' 'Deva Deva' and 'Dance Ka Bhoot.'All three songs are massive hits.But as Ayan's revealed in the caption, there are more songs which were not released in the movie. Brahmastra continues a successful run at the box office, director Ayan Mukherji has penned a heartfelt note for the audience.Ayan shared a video that began with a poster claiming the movie's gross worldwide collection so far has been Rs 225 crores, followed by snippets of the magnum opus.Ayan expressed gratitude for the audience and wrote, "rahmastra has gotten off to a great start with audiences over its first weekend! The feeling is only of Gratitude and more Gratitude - for our Audiences!"He added, "The Acceptance from Audiences - is the only reward we work for at the movies.The Future of the Brahmastra Trilogy, and the Astraverse, eventually lies in the hands of our Audience, and this weekend we have received back from them... He gave Net profit figures and wrote, "Brahmastra has a FABULOUS weekend... *#Hindi* version... *#Nett* BOC...Day 1: Rs 31.5 cr+Day 2: Rs 37.5 cr+Day 3: Rs 39.5 cr+ The final total could be higher... #India biz."Well, these numbers are just for the Hindi version of the film in India, accumulated with the business the film did in other 4 languages and overseas, Karan Johar announced that 'Brahmastra' has so far collected around Rs 225 crores.According to reports, the film was made on a budget of Rs 450 crores.
