Lakshya, Raghav Juyal's 'Kill' to be out on this date

Announcing the release date, Karan took to Instagram and wrote, "Blood. Blood. And blood!We are unleashing this beast of a film to you - #Kill in theatres on 5th July 2024 in India. @itslakshya @tanyamaniktala @raghavjuyal @nix_bhat @apoorva1972 @guneetmonga @achinjain20 @dharmamovies @sikhya."Nikhil Nagesh Bhat has helmed the film. 'Kill' was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in August 2023, where it received a positive response from moviegoers.'Kill' was the only Indian title to be screened under the Midnight Madness programme, which is a fan favourite, "iconoclastic programme highlighting the weird and the wicked".As per Variety, 'Kill' belongs to the extreme action genre, a rarity in Indian cinema. Set entirely on an express train to New Delhi, the film follows Indian army commandos Amrit and Viresh, who are on a mission to rescue Amrit's girlfriend Tulika. She is betrothed to someone else against her wishes. Matters go awry when more than 40 bandits (known as dacoits in India) belonging to an extended family board the train with a view to looting and kidnapping. Amrit and Viresh try to protect Tulika and her family. Visceral, gut-wrenching and pulse-pounding action ensues within the close confines of the train and the pair also have to contend with the psychotic bandit Fani.Tanya Maniktala is also a part of 'Kill'.

The highly anticipated G20 meeting which is scheduled to be held in Srinagar from May 22 to May 24. CRPF Commandos on Friday conducted a special drill in Dal Lake as part of security preparedness ahead of the G20 summit in Kashmir.Marine Commandos(MORCOS) have also done similar security drills in Dal Lake.Meanwhile, various departments are busy preparing for the G20 summit to be held in Srinagar, while many others have finalised their preparations.There is also a program for the visit of delegates from 20 countries to the city of Gulmarg and Dal Lake. A large part of it has already been cleaned and the cleaning work on the other part is going on in full swing.The sanitation work is carried out in Dal throughout the year. But for the G20 summit, special attention is being paid to the cleaning of several important places in the lake. The Vice Chairman of Lake Conservation and Management Authority Dr Bashir Ahmed Butt said that every possible effort is being made to make the Dal attractive and even better.He said that not only the tourism sector will get more boost from the G20 summit being held in Srinagar and the delegates visiting Dal Lake. 'The Martha Mitchell Effect,' and 'Stranger At The Gate'.The film's plot revolves around a family who adopts two orphan baby elephants in Tamil Nadu's Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.Shaunak Sen's directorial 'All that Breathes' also made it to the final nominations list at the 95th edition of the Academy Awards.All That Breathes follows siblings Mohammad Saud and Nadeem Shehzad, who have made it their lives mission to rescue and treat injured birds, especially the Black Kites. It previously won the 'World Cinema Grand Jury Prize: Documentary' at this year's Sundance Film Festival, a film gala promoting independent cinema and filmmakers, and earned the Golden Eye award for the best documentary at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.Tom Cruise starrer 'Babylon' also earned quite a few nominations this year. The Academy awards are going to be held on March 13.

The actress, who is awaiting the release of Love Hostel, will reportedly reunite with producer Guneet Mongal after Pagglait for a comic caper.According to a daily, Sanya Malhotra will be donning the role of a cop in the upcoming movie which will be shot in Madhya Pradesh. The director is yet to be known, so is the rest of the cast. The actress will reportedly head to Madhya Pradesh post the release of Love Hostel for a month-long schedule.Meanwhile, Sanya Malhotra will next star in Sam Bahadur with Vicky Kaushal and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
