Actor Himansh Kohli has tested negative for COVID-19 and has gone on a little break amidst the mountains of Uttarakhand. The actor had tested positive for Coronavirus earlier this month and was under home quarantine.He thanked his friends and fans for their good wishes. Taking to his Instagram account, he wrote, "Thank you everyone for the innumerous messages, DMs, stories, etc. which helped me recover better and sooner. I apologise for being unavailable all this time but I was physically and mentally drained. I am feeling better now and have tested negative in the COVID-19 test done yesterday."

Yaariyan actor Himansh Kohli has tested positive for COVID-19 days after his family members tested positive. On Friday, Kohli took to his Instagram handle to share the news.In his post, he revealed that while taking care of his parents and sister, he started showing symptoms of the virus. “By god’s grace and your prayers, my family has started showing signs of recovery and is getting better at a good speed. A lot of times, we think we have the best immunity, nothing can happen to us, we are a fighter, etc. and we think we are taking all precautions at a pro-level. While looking after my parents and sister, I started showing symptoms too and when I got checked for Covid-19 yesterday, I tested positive,” he wrote. "I don’t want to scare you all since the recovery rate is extremely high. But, all I want to tell everyone is that everybody reacts to this virus in a different way. In fact, all 4 of us in the family have visibly different symptoms and effects caused due to the virus. So, don’t take it lightly and do everything in your power to safeguard yourself from it. I pray that it never reaches anyone of you, but, please be prepared, cause it can come from anywhere, and at anytime," he added.

Recently, we all got ourselves tested for Novel Coronavirus – mom, dad and Disha have tested positive with mild Covid-19 infection,” he wrote on Instagram.Himansh thanked the “government authorities for all the help and the advice. Hats off to all the people working hard to make sure we all are safe. I hope we come out of it and recover very soon.”“I am taking care of myself and my family members. In the meanwhile, safeguard your family and ensure that they are taking all precautions. Even the slightest bit of carelessness can be harmful. But, please don’t be scared, a sane mind deals with all the problems better. Wishing all of you good health and lots of love,” Kohli wrote on Instagram.On the work front, Himansh Kohli last starred in Ranchi Diaries with Taaha Shah and Dil Jo Na Keh Saka opposite Priya Banerjee.

Actress Zoya Afroz of The Expose fame will be starring opposite Himansh in this rom com Produced by Grand Motion Pictures and Asmiya Productions. Shooting of this has been done in foreign locations and interiors of Baroda, directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala, the movie is scheduled to come in first week of August.

While Zoya Afroz plays a happy go lucky girl (Sweetie), himansh plays a simple Gujrat guy from Baroda and his character is on the lines of Saif Ali Khan's from Kal Ho Naa Ho. The USP of the film is that it is a clean family entertainer and has some very funny moments.

What backs the movie up is the strong support from Shamiana Short Film Club's Cyrus Dastur and director Hasnain Hyderabadwala. Cyrus Dastur became a prominent name in the Indian theatre circuit with his flagship production When God Said Cheers!! co-starring Tom Alter, Cyrus directed as well as acted in the play. The play is one of the biggest hits on the Indian Theatre parallel circuit. The production has steadfastly gone from strength to strength in the last six years.
