Yash to reach Hubballi to meet kin of three fans electrocuted

Karnataka) [India], January 9 : Tollywood Actor Yash has reached Hubballi and he is on his way to Gadag to meet the family members of his three fans who died due to electrocution while putting up birthday banners.It's actor Yash's birthday today. Therefore, the fans planned to install the cutout at Ambedkar Nagar of the village in the middle of the night.While installing the huge cutout, the cutout hit the electric wire and electrocuted the youth who was holding the cutout. As a result, three youths died on the spot."Three youths were electrocuted in Karnataka's Gadag district on Sunday night after a huge flex of actor Yash, which they were installing to wish his birthday, came into contact with the electric wire," said Police.The incident took place at the Surangi village in Lakshmeshwar taluk of the district.The deceased persons have been identified as Hanamanta Harijan (21), Murali Nadavinamani (20), Naveen Ghazi (19). Three more were seriously injured and the injured have been admitted to Lakshmeshwar Hospital for treatment.The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Lakshmeshwar police station. Meanwhile, on the work front, Yash will be next seen in 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale of Grown-ups'.Helmed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is all set to hit theatres on April 10, 2025.The film is touted to be an action-oriented film set against the backdrop of the drug mafia.

Anurag Thakur announces two schemes to incentivize shooting of foreign films in India

Earlier on Wednesday, Thakur inaugurated the India Pavilion at Cannes Film Market 'Marche du Film' and said that Indian cinema is a story of human talent, triumph and the trajectory of New India."While reflecting the values, beliefs, and experiences of the Indian people, Indian cinema has also showcased their hopes, dreams and achievements. While being rooted in Indian culture, the Indian film industry has grown to acquire a universal character. And while preserving our age-old stories, the Indian filmmakers are innovating in their art of storytelling through use of technology," the Minister added."Indian cinema is not only the story of a 6000-year-old civilisation, not only the story of 1.3 billion tales but also the story of human talent, triumph and the trajectory of New India narrated through your lens," he added. ENHYPENs Sunghoon undergoes surgery for Rhinitis; Jungwon to host this weeks Music Bank on his behalf

South Korean group ENHYPENs member Sunghoon recently underwent surgery for Rhinitis after experiencing discomfort during his daily routine and while singing and will reportedly take break from all activities.According to Korean tabloid Soompi, due to the surgery, Sunghoon will not be able to appear on this weeks broadcast of Music Bank. On February 2, his agency BELIFT LAB shared an official statement announcing his break. Hello, this is BELIFT LAB. We would like to inform fans that ENHYPEN member Sunghoon will not be able be an MC on this weeks broadcast of Music Bank. the statement began.Sunghoon has been feeling discomfort while singing and [carrying out his] daily life due to rhinitis symptoms, and on January 29 (Saturday), he underwent surgery to treat it during the Lunar New Year holiday. the statement continued. South Korean group ASTROs lead vocalist MJ will reportedly be halting all promotional activities temporarily due to health concerns.As per a report by Soompi, on January 28, group management label Fantagio Entertainment officially announced that MJ would be taking a break from all activities in order to focus on recovering his health.The agency released an official statement that read, Hello. We would like to thank the AROHA [ASTROs official fandom] who always give ASTRO their unsparing love as we make an announcement regarding member MJ temporarily halting activities.The statement continued, During his recent promotions, ASTROs MJ noticed issues with his health, and so he went to the hospital for an in-depth checkup. South Korean group APRILs members have decided to part ways and recently announced their group disbandment after 6 years.On January 28, the groups agency DSP Media released an official statement informing the groups decision of disbandment, as reported by Korean tabloid Soompi. We are informing you that our artist APRIL has disbanded. the statement begun.After a long period of discussion and debate, our agency and the APRIL members decided to have the group disband and go their separate ways. BTOB to make a full-group comeback in February 2022 after almost four years

South Korean group BTOB is gearing up to make their long-awaited comeback as a full group in February, for the first time in nearly four years.On January 27, SPOTV News reported that BTOB will be releasing a new album as a full group in February.According to Korean publication Soompi, in response to the reports, the groups agency Cube Entertainment released an official statement confirming their return and said, BTOB is preparing for a comeback in February. Details regarding the exact release date have not been revealed yet by the label.BTOBs forthcoming return in February will notably mark their first comeback with all 6 members in almost three years and eight months since their 11th mini album This Is Us in June 2018.The members of BTOB began enlisting for their mandatory military service duties in late 2018, with leader Seo Eun Kwang beginning his service in August 2018. In 2021, the group's last two members Im Hyun Sik and Yook Sung Jae officially returned after fulfilling their duties in November.In Im Hyun Sik and Yook Sung Jaes absence, the remaining members Seo Eun Kwang, Lee Chang Sub, Peniel Shin and Lee Min Hyuk released music under both BTOB, as well as the sub-unit BTOB 4U. All six BTOB members have now completed government-mandated military requirements and are all set to make their comeback in February.

South Korean group THE BOYZ member Eric has tested positive for Covid-19. The groups agency IST Entertainment released an official statement on the groups official fancaf to announce the diagnosis.According to Korean tabloid Soompi, the statement read, Hello. We are informing you that the agencys artist THE BOYZs Eric has tested positive for COVID-19.On January 20, after THE BOYZ member Eric completed the third dose of his COVID-19 vaccine, he received contact that an acquaintance of the friend he had dinner with had tested positive for COVID-19, so he preemptively took a PCR test on the morning of January 21 and tested negative, the statement read.It continued, After testing negative on January 21, Eric did not have any particular symptoms, so he quarantined until January 21, and then he joined [THE BOYZs] scheduled activities after confirming he tested negative with a self-testing kit on January 22. iKON members Dong Huk, Jin Hwan and Yun Heong test positive for COVID-19

South Korean group iKONs three members tested positive for Covid-19 according to the group's agency YG Entertainment.On Sunday, the agency confirmed that member Kim Dong Hyuk, Kim Jin Hwan and Song Yun Heong, after showing symptoms of a cold, have been confirmed to have contracted the virus. The agency added that the three other members in iKON Bobby, Jung Chan Woo and Koo Jun Hoe have tested negative after their RT-PCR tests on Saturday.The agency plans to fully cooperate with the countrys health authorities and take measures to prevent the spread of the virus, said YG Entertainment in a statement. We will actively support the health of the members as well.iKON debuted in 2015 with an EP titled Welcome Back. Some of its hit songs include 'Climax' (2016), 'Love Scenario' (2018) and 'Killing Me' (2019). The bands most recent song is 'Why Why Why' which was released in March 2021.

South Korean group Super Juniors member Eunhyuk has been confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19.According to Korean tabloid Soompi, on January 20, Label SJ announced that Eunhyuk had taken a rapid antigen detection test for Covid-19 for precautionary reasons. The result indicated that he might have Covid-19, so he went to get a follow-up PCR test as well.The agency later on confirmed through a statement that the rapper tested positive for Covid-19 in the PCR test. Other crew members of the show have been tested and are waiting for their results. The cast members Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, HaHa have tested negative. All three of them plan to resume their activities.

South Korean group Enhypens latest repackage album Dimension: Answer has sold more than 500,000 copies in the first week of its release, the group's management agency said Tuesday.Dimension: Answer, a repackaged version of the group's first full-length album Dimension: Dilemma released in October, has sold 514,291 copies for a week from last Monday when the album dropped, Belift Lab said, citing data from Hanteo Chart, a local album sales tracker.It was the second straight success for the rookie group after the first full album became a million seller. The repackage album has been performing well on domestic and overseas music charts.It topped iTunes Top Albums chart in 10 countries or regions the day after its release with the main track Blessed-Cursed rising to the top of a Japanese music chart.The seven-piece group was formed through the TV audition program I-Land (2020), co-produced by entertainment industry giants CJ ENM and HYBE, and airing on the music cable TV channel MNet, and debuted in November 2020 with its first EP Border: DayOne.The first of a new fictional webtoon series about the group, entitled Dark Moon: The Blood Altar was releasedon January 16, 2022.
