The platform that has been instrumental in discovering some of the most prominent singing stars of the music fraternity over the past 25 years including the likes of Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Kamal Khan, Amanat Ali, Raja Hassan, Sanjeevani, and Bela Shende is back on television. Following the success of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs last year, Zee TV returns with its most iconic, longest-running singing reality show that has continued to stay relevant to music lovers even today Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Taking forward the shows legacy, the latest season invites audiences to participate and celebrate Music Ka Sabse Bada Tyohaar as the platform is all set to introduce some of Indias finest singing talent identified by the most discerning ears in the industry starting 16th October, every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM only on Zee TV.Giving the budding singers across the country a chance to exhibit their talent, hone their skills and prepare them for a career in the world of music will be the show's judges - Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani and Shankar Mahadevan. Moreover, the charming singer-anchor Aditya Narayan will be seen turning host for the upcoming season, returning to the show after his last stint in 2018.Sa Re Ga Ma Pa announced its auditions for the season three months ago with the shows in-house creative team and production houses Zee Studios and The Content Team evaluating fresh talent day in, day out to pick only the most promising voices with true potential. While it was every contestants own unique singing style, tayyari and merit that made the cut, their heart-warming journeys to fulfil their singing dreams and personal stories also touched the judges hearts. What moved them the most was the deep passion that each of them held for music in their lives. Be it Uttar Pradeshs Sachin Kumar Valmiki who took the judges breath way with his own breathless performance to Nahin Saamne Tu, returning as a contestant to win the trophy after having been a runner-up in a previous season or Delhis Sanjana Bhat who courageously held on to her 6-month-old as she sang her heart out in front of them. Even Jaipurs Akansha Rao, a spirited, tom-boyish Gen-Z millennial who sings only songs from the 1950s is a stellar example of how music across eras is still relevant with todays generation. Ditto for Vadodaras Vraj Kshatriya who hails from a business family and was often encouraged to follow in his fathers footsteps but is determined to prove that Gujaratis are artistic too and wishes to carve a niche for himself with his beautiful voice. With the super talented pool of fresh contestants gearing up to set the stage ablaze with their exceptional voices, audiences are in for a grand celebration of singing talent at this music ka sabse bada tyohaar!Talking about the reality show and its upcoming season, Zee TV Business Head Aparna Bhosle mentioned, "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, our deeply cherished singing reality platform has stayed relevant to music lovers of today and continues to carry forth a legacy we are collectively proud of as a nation, simply because of its golden standards of excellence in singing calibre. As we enter the festive season, we are keen to present the latest season as the biggest celebration of music ever. We are happy to have on board a music maestro like Shankar Mahadevan and rockstars whore geniuses of their own genres Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani on the judges panel. The last time I judged the show, I was enthralled by the performances of the contestants, and Im hoping this time too Ill get to witness some of the finest talents of our country. As we kick off Music Ka Sabse Bada Tyohaar during the festive season, I am sure we will have double the fun. Its all the more exciting to be judging this season alongside Vishal and Himesh. While I have had a chance to share the same panel with Himesh, it would be my first season with Vishal hes a dear friend, weve recorded so many times for each other, he has a crazy sense of humor and I m hoping to have a marvellous time judging the show with the two of them."Judge Himesh Reshammiya added, Although I have been a part of several seasons of this reality show, each season has left me surprised with the kind of talent that appears on stage. They are not just adept in the field of music but have their own style and aura of presenting songs, which all the more makes each season worthwhile to watch. Even after all these years, I am quite thrilled to be a part of the judges panel because I truly believe that it is going to be a real treat to watch these raw talents perform.Adding to everyones excitement, judge Vishal Dadlani mentioned, "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and I go back a long way and it truly feels wonderful to return to the show after a while. What makes this season more exciting is the celebration of music that we are kickstarting as well as the chance of sharing the judges panel with some of the finest names in the industry. I have a great equation with both Himesh and Shankar and whenever we have worked together, we have had a lot of fun through our music. So, I am sure viewers are bound to have a gala time watching us come together while the talented singers of the season mesmerize us all with their voices. I look forward to shaping the future of this seasons contestants."Excited to step in as the host once again for this season, Aditya Narayan added, "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has always held a special place in my heart as I started my hosting career with this show, and I feel really honoured to be associated with it. It marked the beginning of my career, and it continues to do so for numerous budding singers across India. In fact, being a singer myself, I am quite keen to know what this season has in store for us. I wish all the contestants all the luck."

Shankar Mahadevan roped in to be the third judge on the next season of Zee TVs Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

23 Jul 2021

Taking forward a legacy of over 25 years, Zee TVs Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has been successful in unearthing some of the prominent stars of the music fraternity including Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Kamal Khan, Amanat Ali, Raja Hassan, Sanjeevani, and Bela Shende amongst many others. In the wake of the enormous success of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs last year, Zee TV is back with its most iconic, longest-running singing reality show that has managed to stay relevant to music lovers, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. The new season promises to provide a sea of opportunities to the most aspiring singers across the nation. Giving them a chance to exhibit their talent and create a name of their own in the world of music will be the popular singers of the industry, Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani.Occupying the position of the third judge on the show will be none other than the maestro himself, Shankar Mahadevan who will be once again returning to Sa Re Ga Ma Pa after 8 years to upskill the raw talents of the country. The show is all set to arrive soon on Zee TV with the three judges, Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani, and Shankar Mahadevan judging the top-notch singers of India, wholl deliver their best to take the winners trophy home.Delighted to be judging Sa Re Ga Ma Pa again this year, the connoisseur of music, Shankar Mahadevan said, "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has been a global platform for singing talent across the universe and I am very excited to be a part of this show. It was the first show where I had come as a mentor and returning again this year as the judge only gives me immense pleasure and excitement. As music composers, we are always looking out for new talent and are in search of fresh voices to feature as a part of our songs and our films. In my career, I have used at least 30 singers from reality shows to sing for films and they have become immensely successful. So, I believe that meeting new talent is the biggest opportunity for a composer and its a great feeling to be able to enjoy and groom their them further. My only advice to all the young musicians would be to create your own niche in singing while using aspects from the maestros because I will be looking for a person who is not only a singer but also a contributor to the song".Adding further on sharing the judges throne with Himesh and Vishal, Shankar Mahadevan said, "I have judged a show with Himesh in the year 2009 and after more than a decade, we are coming back together to judge this show. He is always full of energy and gets completely involved in the show, so I think its going to be amazing working with him. Vishal is a dear buddy and co-musician and while we have sung for each other on many occasions, this would be the first time that we are coming together as judges in a reality show. He has a great sense of humour and I am really looking forward to sharing many funny and musical moments with him."
