Kareena Kapoor Khan shared her thoughts on brother-in-law Kunal Khemu's directorial debut, 'Madgaon Express.'The 'Jab We Met' actress, posted the film's poster on her Instagram story and praised Kunal's directing skills."So, so funny and brilliantly directed. So, so proud of you, Kunal Khemu. Outstanding performances. Bravo, guys," she wrote in her caption.'Madgaon Express' marks Kunal's directorial debut. Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Nora Fatehi, and Avinash Tiwary feature in the lead roles.Recently, Kunal unveiled the film's trailer, which showcases three young boys, who dream about vacationing in Goa someday. Their dream does come true but it soon turns into a nightmare as the three friends, all grown up now, embark upon a train journey via Madgaon Express to reach their destination Goa.In an interview with ANI, Kunal shared his experience of shooting in Goa,The actor said, "I love Goa, I have been there many times to shoot films and it is the most relatable place. When you say Goa everybody in the country knows that it is all about fun, some kind of excitement, and beaches and it kind of resonates. Also, I am telling the story about boys who live in Bombay and to give them something aspirational is so relatable. They were so close to Goa but still could not reach Goa till 20 years"In August 2022, Kunal announced his directorial debut via Instagram post."Ganpati Bappa Moriya! As all good things begin with his name I can't think of a better day to share this with all of you. It started with a thought in my head, which grew into a dream which flowed out through my fingers into words on my laptop, and now it is becoming a reality on its way to the silver screen. Kunal Kemmu took a stroll down memory lane and shared stills from the film.Marking the special occasion, Kunal took to his Instagram story and re-shared a post featuring his character from the movie.The action-filled trailer is a journey of two love-birds Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patani who travel to places.Kunal Khemu played a role of a cop, Michael Rodriguez in the film.'Malang' is a revenge drama, helmed by 'Aashiqui 2' director Mohit and produced by Bhushan, Luv Ranjan, Ankur and Jay Shewakramani.Produced by T-Series in collaboration with Luv Films and Northern Lights Entertainment. The film features Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani in the lead roles. The film was released on February 7.In 2020, Mohit Suri confirmed a sequel of the romantic-action flick 'Malang' in-process and shared a glimpse of the first draft on social media.The 39-year-old director shared a picture of the script (in making) on Twitter.The picture had wordings of "Malang - Unleash The Madness 2" in black, bold letters.Alongside the picture, the filmmaker tweeted: "To make a great film you need 3 things: The script, the script and the script - Alfred Hitchcock #Malang #firstdraft #malang2"Prior to that it was noted that the ensemble cast of 'Malang' including actors Anil Kapoor, Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunal Khemu met each other for a virtual reunion on a group video call.Meanwhile, on the work front, he will be next seen in 'Go Goa Gone'. Saif Ali Khan, Kunal and Vir Das's film 'Go Goa Gone' was released in 2013. The storyline of the film is based on three friends who go to an island to party and try to save their lives from zombies. The last time a Bollywood movie was made on zombies was the 2013 film Go Goa Gone.The film starred Vir Das, Kunal Khemu and Saif Ali Khan.The fans are going gaga over Vicky Kaushals latest look. He is seen donning an engineers hat in an abandoned ship and in one of the stillshe is working the axe like no other. Bhoot: Part One The Haunted Ship also stars Bhumi Pednekar and we cant wait to see the two sharing the screen space for the first time. But according to the latest reports, the makers Raj and DK and Dinesh Vijan had a fall out and a subsequent legal battle, therefore this has affected Go Goa Gone 2. Reportedly, the makers had registered the title: Go Goa Gone 2: Babaji Ki Booti but the project is now stuck in limbo. For those who dont know, Raj and DK and Dinesh Vijan had fallout over Stree.The movie did well, garnered a lot of moolah at the box office and then the makers had a fall out over profit sharing and hence there is a legal procedure happening over sharing credits. Saif along with other actors had already given dates for this movie and it is disappointing now that the fate of the movie is undecided. Saif Ali Khan is currently utilizing time with his family and his pictures with son Taimur Ali Khan keep going viral all the time. The shooting of Abhishek Varmans Kalank has kickstarted. Alia Bhatt Varun Dhawan Madhuri Dixit , and Kunal Khemu have started shooting for their portions. Others from the stellar ensemble cast which includes Sonakshi Sinha Aditya Roy Kapur , and Sanjay Dutt are expected to join soon. However, the shoot was disrupted on Monday evening due to two snakes. Alia and Varun were shooting for an intense sequence when the crew spotted two snakes inching towards them. Though the crew took the snake back in the jungle, the shoot was halted for an hour. A source revealed, The actors are on a 45-day schedule, so the team is taking precautions to ensure everyones safety after this incident. On Monday afternoon, there was a lot of commotion on set because the snakes were huge, so the shoot came to an immediate halt. After ensuring everyone was safe, the crew took the snakes back into the jungle. Incidentally, the same incident had happened on the same set during the shoot of My Name Is Khan starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in which Abhishek Varman was an assistant director. Kalank is an epic period drama, produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Itis slated to release on April 19, 2019.
