Manish Paul, the very popular VJ and anchor who is currently anchoring 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' and would be seen hosting India's Got Talent's next season, is all set to make his big screen debut with a film titled Oye Mickey written and directed by debutant Saurabh Varma.

Oye Mickey is a comic thriller set in Delhi around the life of a Punjabi computer geek Mickey (played by Manish) who plans a con of a lifetime.

The other cast is still being decided and the film is slated to go on floor in September this year.

Saurabh Varma, the writer director of the film says, "We were auditioning many guys for about 6 months but when someone suggested Manish, I realized I have got my Mickey. I am glad to have found Manish for this character; we couldn't have found anyone more appropriate than him."

Says Manish, "Every actor wants to gradually go on to big screen. I had met many filmmakers before but when Saurabh narrated the script to me everything fell in place. The film has drama, action and comic element too."

"I would still not leave television completely and work things out between television and films", he was quick to add.
