Mugdha Godse

Mugdha Godse, who made her transition from modeling to acting after winning the 'Ponds Femina Miss India 2004 contest', was last seen in Prakash Jha's Satyagraha in a cameo. While the actress has been copiously missing from the big screen for a while now, we hear that Godse will soon be seen walking the ramp.

Interestingly, Mugdha will feature as the showstopper in India's first condom fashion event. The event which is being organized with an intention to break the barriers of taboo towards condoms will feature 36 teams with 78 students from 11 institutes who will be participating in this event by designing and creating costumes using SKORE condoms.

Speaking about this unique show, Mugdha said that the participating fashion designing students came to her asking her to me model their outfits because they wanted a celebrity to grab more eyeballs and, thus, raise the awareness levels. Since she thought that it was a great effort, Godse gave her nod to walk the ramp. Today, she even tweeted about the same stating "Walking the ramp for HIV/AIDS Awareness Fashion Show today to spread some AIDS awareness :)".

Mugdha Godse, famous for her role of a struggling model in Fashion, will now play the character of a free spirited girl in her next. This Maharashtrian mulgi who transformed into a Punjabi kudi for her film No Rules For Fools , will now be seen playing the role of an obsessive lover in her upcoming film Bezubaan Ishq . Also, this actress will be sharing screen space with the former protege of Salman Khan, Sneha Ullal who debuted in Bollywood with Lucky: No Time for Love. The first schedule of this film has already kick started in Jaipur on April 25 and is said to continue till May 15.

Bezubaan Ishq is directed by debutant Jaswant and the film will also be the launching pad for actor Nishant.

Mugdha Godse has replaced Neha Dhupia to do an item song in Tigmanshu Dhulia's sequel to Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. Neha had to opt out of it due to date issues.

Confirming the same, Neha tweeted, "Much against my wishes n the team of #sahebbiwigangster2 , I had to opt out of the item song as my dates did not work out! The time I spent with #tigmanshudhulia and his team was tons of fun. N v look forward to workin with each other in the future! #clarified" Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns stars Irrfan, Jimmy Sheirgill, Soha Ali Khan, Mahie Gill, Randeep Hooda and Raj Babbar.
