Poonam Pandey has once again landed in legal trouble. A complaint has been registered against the model-actress and her ex-husband Sam Bombay by the Canacona Police in Goa. A charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Canacona for committing an obscene act in 2020. The chargesheet claims that Poonam participated in a nude photoshoot at Chapoli Dam in Goa.Poonam Pandey lands in legal trouble for 2020 nude photoshootThe incident which happened in 2020 led to several people complaining about the model-actress for posing nude in public space. A video of Pandey's photoshoot had also gone viral on social media. Thereafter the police registered a case against Poonam and Sam Bombay for obscene acts in public, vulgar videography, and dancing and singing in an open public space.The said incident happened before November 2020 when Poonam Pandey and Sam Bombay were on a holiday in Canacona in Goa. Poonam and Sam who got married in Mumbai in September 2020 got separated in 2021. Sam was arrested by the police after the actress accused him of physically assaulting her.

Businessman Raj Kundra has recorded composed notes in anticipatory bail application at the Bombay High Court, regarding the porn case including Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra. The Court, last week deferred the consultation for the situation for Monday, November 22. In his composed notes, Kundra's legitimate group headed by Advocate Prashant Patil and Advocate Swapnil Ambure expressed those sections, 67, and 67(A) of the IT Act are not appropriate for the situation.Kundra was asked by the Bombay High Court about the two sections that have been forced for the situation. In the Cyber cell police case, just these two sections are non-bailable. The remainder of the sections claimed for the situation are bailable.Section 67 of the act talks about punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form, and Section 67A talks about punishment for publishing or transmitting material containing sexually explicit acts, etc., in electronic form.Kundra's records, documented through advocates Prashant P Patil and Swapnil Ambure, mentioned that the main charge of the prosecution against the businessman is with respect to alleged personal videos of actors Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey, who are co-accused in the case.Kundra said that the recordings might be sensual yet don't include any actual sexual movement or the two individuals occupied with sexual relations.The document mentioned that Kundra is not the slightest bit associated with the substance creation, distribution, or in any event, communicating of the recordings being referred to. It is "shot by the specialists, in which the craftsmen honestly gave full assent and understanding and with no intimidation."The said act can be covered most completely under the "Profane Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986. Appropriately, the whole Act is bailable, Kundra's legal advisors said.The document further added that Chopra and Pandey, through their own OTT application given by Kundra's organization, had full command over the telecom and circulation, and had acquired compensation out of it.The other document given by legal advisors to the court stated that Kundra, who is a UK resident, isn't named in the FIR and has been hauled into the case simply because of the assertions of the other co-accused.Kundra said that he had turned into an overseer of Armsprime Pvt Ltd, the organization that claimed the application, in February 2019 and left the organization in December 2019. The alleged video of Sherlyn Chopra was transferred by the artist post-Kundra's exit from the organization.Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai crime branch on July 19 for allegedly producing and distributing porn films using a subscriber-driven mobile app called "HotShots."Kundra was booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), other than areas of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. He was likewise allowed bail in September after Mumbai police recorded a charge sheet against him.

Model Poonam Pandey's husband, Sam Bombay, has been arrested by Mumbai Police on November 8 after the model accused him of alleged physical assault. As per reports, she is currently hospitalised after suffering injuries on her head, eye, and face.According to India Today, Mumbai Police said, "Actress Poonam Pandey's husband, Sam Bombay, was arrested yesterday in Mumbai after the actress complained that he assaulted her. Poonam Pandey was admitted to a hospital."This isn't the first time he has been arrested for alleged assault on his wife. Back in September 2020, Poonam Pandey had filed a complaint against her husband for molesting and threatening her. Sam Bombay was arrested in Goa following the complaint. This happened few days after she got married to Sam Bombay.After he got bail, Poonam Pandey and Sam Bombay got back together. Talking to a daily, Poonam had earlier said that they were trying to sort out things and were back together. She had said that they were madly in love with each other and said that every marriage has its ups and downs. Sam Bombay had also said that the matter got blown out of proportion.Poonam Pandey and Sam Bombay got married in a private ceremony in Mumbai on September 10, 2020.
