30 Oct 2023

Shriya Pilgaonkar shared her experience of being part of the Jury at Jio MAMI Film Festival this year in the Mumbai dimensions category.Shriya Pilgaonkar, one of the most versatile actors in the industry, who is also a filmmaker, reflects on the deep-seated connection she holds with this film festival.Shriya shared, "I am thrilled to be part of the Jury at MAMI this year in the Mumbai dimensions category. This film festival and I go back a long way and I've always felt a special connection to it, not just as a cinephile but also because in the past, a short documentary that I directed called 'Dresswala' was an official selection at this festival. So it feels like a full circle moment for me that I am now part of the jury of the same category that I once submitted to as a filmmaker. I really look forward to attending the festival every year which is a wonderful platform for filmmakers and cinema lovers from around the world. It's so inspiring and rejuvenating to be in this environment where people come together just for the pure love of cinema. I am really looking forward to watching some incredible films."Meanwhile, on the work front, Shriya has recently wrapped the shooting for her hit series 'The Broken News 2' with Jaideep Ahlawat, a film with Emmay Entertainment by Nikhil Advani is her next release, besides shooting for sequel to her hit shows 'The Guilty Minds' and 'Taaza Khabar.'Shriya will also begin shooting for two of her films, early next year.

Well, at least for my mother & me. As Navya spent all her days doing LOr al things. My mother and I walked and ate (more eating than roaming to be honest) The show was an experience and so emotional - my mother and I both admitted to holding back tears as our little girl walked on all smiles !!! I remember her first steps she was just a few days past her 1st birthday - like yesterday, all parents say this Im sure, its cheesy, and annoying, but so true. She wore red, the Eiffel Tower turned pink, and we went home very proud, very emotional, and very hungry. I snuck in some M&Ms in my bag, though its blasphemous to eat chocolate at a fashion show, we did - because were worth it As soon as the videos and pictures were uploaded, fans and industry members chimed in the comment section.Neha Dhupia wrote, Wow just wow.My heart is smiling @shwetabachchan @navyananda.Zoya Akhtar posted, NAVYA.I love you Shweta but your camera skills we need to discuss "Navya is an entrepreneur, runs a women-centric health tech company and often posts about her work on social media. She also hosted a podcast show 'What the Hell Navya' where her mother and grandmother Jaya Bachchan talked about various issues concerning women.
