Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 16 : The release date for RajKummar Rao and Triptii Dimri-starrer 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' has been locked. On Tuesday, the makers announced that the film will hit theatres on October 11, 2024. Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' promises a "perfect blend of laughter and drama, immersing viewers in the charm and energy of the swinging 90s."Rajkummar shared a poster from the film to announce the same.The caption of Rao's post read, "Buckle up for a retro nostalgia trip! Excited to take you on a joy ride in #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo coming on 11th October 2024."'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video', the film is created by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, Balaji Telefilms & Wakaoo Films In Association with Thinkink Picturez.Besides this film, RajKummar will also be seen in 'Mr and Mrs Mahi' alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The film will be out on May 31. It is a sports drama. 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' fame Sharan Sharma has directed the film. He also has 'Srikanth' in his kitty. Rajkummar portrays the life of Srikanth Bolla, an industrialist who fearlessly pursued his dreams despite his visual impairment.Srikanth Bolla is an Indian entrepreneur who founded Bollant Industries, providing employment to unskilled and differently-abled individuals. Born visually impaired in 1992 near Hyderabad, his life story is inspiring.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'.The film, which is expected to go on floors soon, will be directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.As per a statement, 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' "promises to be a hilarious cinematic experience bringing the 90s tadka back."Earlier today, the makers also unveiled an intriguing poster with the initials of the film's title, 'VVKWWV' teasing the audience and leaving them guessing the title.The film's announcement has left fans excited."Wow..fresh on screen jodi," a social media user commented."Looks interesting. Best wishes to the team," another one wrote.The film also marks the first-ever on-screen pairing of Rajkummar with talented Triptii. Details regarding the other actors are awaited.Meanwhile, RajKummar is basking in the success of the Netflix series 'Guns & Gulaabs', in which he shared the screen space with Dulquer Salmaan. In the coming months, he will also be seen in 'Mr and Mrs Mahi' opposite Janhvi Kapoor. The film will hit the theatres on March 15, 2024.Sharan Sharma of 'Gunjan Saxena' has directed the film.On the other hand, Triptii made her acting debut in the comedy film Poster Boys (2017) and had her first lead role in the romantic drama Laila Majnu (2018). She has since starred in Anvita Dutt's period films Bulbbul (2020) and Qala (2022).

In September this year writer-director Raaj Sjaandilyaa announced his next venture titled Janhit Mein Jaari that would feature Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead. Later in November, it was reported that the shoot of the film had been stopped for a while since a few crew members tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Now, we hear that the film has run into some major trouble and has been kept on hold. In fact, as per sources, the makers of Janhit Mein Jaari have run into some serious financial trouble leaving the shoot of the film high and dry. Apparently, this sudden shortage of funds has led to the film being kept on the backburner for now.However, clarifying whether Janhit Mein Jaari has been shelved or not, writer-director Raaj Sjaandilyaa says that the venture is far from being shelved. No, nothing like that at all. Our second schedule of the film started on 28, we had paused for a bit in between since some of our crew members wanted to celebrate Diwali. Then there was the shoot for Ram Setu which Nushrratt had committed to. But we are very much still doing the film. Further talking about the financial backing Janhit Mein Jaari has received Raaj continues, In fact, we never had any financial issues with Janhit Mein Jaari. There were so many financers we could pick to fund the venture.Concluding his clarification about the Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer not being shelved Raaj Shaandilyaa also detailed his release plan saying, We are looking to finish the shoot schedule by December 15 or 16. Then next year in January we are planning some promotional song and other things with a final release being scheduled for March 2022

Our aim is to change the trend and give the audience an entertaining ride.The man who is ruling the space of OTT, Abhishek Banerjee said, I always look for roles that challenge me as an actor and I was really looking for a good comedy script and this is a really funny story. When the makers approached me to play Munnes and narrated it to me, I was completely mind blown. We have begun shooting for the show in Rohtak and I am really looking forward to it.

A leg injury played a spoilsport for the committed actress, Nushrratt Bharuccha, during her recent shoot. During a song shoot for her ongoing film by Raaj Shaandilyaa and Vinod Bhanushalis Janhit Mein Jaari, Nushrratt sprained her leg and the doctor has asked her to take some much-needed rest.A source from the production unit revealed, "We had started shooting for the Holi song on this massive setup that was created but during a highly choreographed dance sequence shoot, Nushrratt sprained her leg. Initially, she felt, she can take a break and continue shooting since a lot of crew members were a part of this. But after check-up and an X-Ray, the doctor has strictly advised resting her foot for 3-4 days."The makers have created a huge set up to shoot this massive Holi song. As per the doctor that examined Nushrratt, she is told to rest her foot for a few days, resulting in the shoot going on hold.The makers and director have decided to take a break until Nushrratt is fully recovered. We surely cannot wait to see this new Holi song coming our way.

It got cancelled amidst the deadly second wave of Covid-19. The shoot was scheduled to take place in small towns of Uttar Pradesh; however, owing to the ongoing crisis, the UP Government has mandate strict guidelines.Raaj Shaandilyaa, the writer of the film, has now confirmed that the shoot won't be able to take place in Uttar Pradesh with the new guidelines its state government has mandated. Speaking to a daily, Raaj said that they cannot shoot in Uttar Pradesh as the state witnessed a spike in cases, and things may be improving now, but they cannot venture into the state until further notice.The team has now decided to take the film to Chanderi and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh instead. Raaj said that the film is about a small-town story, so these places will serve as an ideal location for them and they are tweaking the story to suit the new locality.In the film, Nushrratt Bharuccha will play the role of a condom manufacturing company's executive. It will be her second project with Raaj Shaandilyaa after Ayushmann Khurana starrer Dream Girl (2019).

The actress who enjoys taking up challenging roles has found one in Raaj Shaandilyaa's next titled Janhit Mein Jaari.As per reports, Nushrratt will be seen playing the role of a condom sales executive in Janhit Mein Jaari. Talking to a daily, Shaandilyaa said that the character hails from a town who finds a job as a sales and promotions executive at a condom manufacturing company. In the film, Nushrratt will be seen selling condoms at medical stores and also runs promotions in different areas of the locality. The film also stars Amyra Dastur and Ravi Kishan.The film was supposed to go on the floor in April. However, due to the pandemic, the shoot has been delayed. The makers plan on taking the film on floors in August if the situation gets better.Meanwhile, on a similar line, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing a condom tester in her upcoming film by RSVP. Reportedly, the film has been titled Chhatriwaali, but an official announcement is awaited.
