Genelia Deshmukh on Tuesday penned an adorable birthday wish for her dad Neil D'Souza.Taking to Instagram, Genelia shared an adorable picture of herself and her dad.In the picture, Genelia is seen cutely hugging her dad and both father-daughter duo flaunted their big smiles as they pose for camera.Sharing the picture, she wrote, "Dear Pops, Every time I feel alone, feel inadequate, insecure, I just have to close my eyes and remember whose daughter I am..No one could ever love me, like how my dad does and that's my permanent imaginary crown I wear for life. I Love you more than I ever tell you Happy Birthday Pops."As soon as the picture was uploaded, fans and followers chimed in the comment section.One of the users wrote, "Happy birthday Uncle [?]"Another user commented, "Lovely pic "Genelia and Riteish tied the knot on February 3, 2012. They welcomed their son Riaan in November 2014 and their second son Rahyl in June 2016.Meanwhile, on the work front, Genelia recently marked her Marathi debut with 'Ved', which is her husband Riteish Deshmukh's directorial debut. It is Genelia's maiden Marathi venture.Also, Genelia is all set to make a grand comeback to acting with an upcoming Telugu film. The yet-to-be-titled film introduces Karnataka's former minister and popular industrialist Gali Janardhan Reddy's son Kireeti as a lead actor. It's a Telugu-Kannada bilingual movie and is directed by Radha Krishna.

Genelia Deshmukh, on Sunday, shared a heartfelt note to mark her father-in-law Vilasrao Deshmukh's 10th death anniversary.Taking to Instagram, the 'Force' actor dropped a couple of pictures, which she captioned, "VerifiedDearest Pappa, Riaan and Rahyl asked me today. "Aai, if we ask Ajoba a question, will he answer??" Without a doubt my answer was, "He will answer, if you Hear him". I have honestly lived all these years speaking to you and getting every answer back, I know you have been w us through our toughest times and laughed with us through our lighter times, I know that you answer every doubt we have and I know even right now, you have read what I am writing to you..And I know it's your promise to us, that you will always be there, if we just keep our ears open to hearing you, our eyes open to seeing you and our hearts open to experiencing you. We Miss You Pappa P.s - Riaan and Rahyl insist that they are holding you on either side."In the first picture, Genelia and her husband Riteish Deshmukh's sons Riaan and Rahyl could be seen sitting beside the picture of their grandfather.In another picture, shared by the 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' actor, her kids can be seen seeking blessings from Riteish's father Vilasrao Deshmukh.Soon after Genelia dropped the pictures, fans flooded the comment section with heart emoticons.Vilasrao Deshmukh was the two-time Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and he passed away due to kidney and lung failure on August 14, 2012.Meanwhile, talking about Genelia, she has completed filming for 'Mister Mummy' which is directed by Shaad Ali and is scheduled to release in the latter part of the year. Apart from 'Mister Mummy', she has also started working on a new project titled 'Trial Period', helmed by Aleya Sen. Manav Kaul is also a part of the film.

Genelia Deshmukh, on Monday, shared that she has lost 4 kgs in six weeks.Taking to Instagram, Genelia dropped a video in which she documented her weight loss journey.The clip shows Genelia doing different exercises at the gym that helped her lose 4 kg in six weeks. Genelia began her training with 59.4 kg. By the second week, she weighed 58.2 kg. While in week three, she weighed 57.2 kg, in week four, she weighed 56.1 kg, 55.7 kg in week five, and 55.1 kg in week six.Her 'Force' co-star John Abraham and husband Riteish Deshmukh also marked their presence in Genelia's video.Genelia also penned a note in which she talked about her fitness goals."So 6 weeks done..And it was a great great journey..From 59.4 kgs to 55.1kgs. I started with a lot of of doubt, a lot of insecurity but today apart from reaching the goal I feel a lot more confident, disciplined, and a-lot more structured as a person. I want fitness to be a part of my life, I want to not get disheartened everytime I binge and I also want to be aware that there's a reason it's called cheat meals and not your regular diet..I want to be able to talk, everytime my scale shows a higher weight without feeling guilty about it and I want to also make it evident that, just weight in fitness, is not the only thing that matters but rather muscle development, agility, flexibility matters too..And hence I'm going to continue this journey, being as transparent as I can and bringing forward the good days and not so good days too.
