Homi Adajania is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming murder mystery film 'Murder Mubarak.'The film stars Pankaj TripathiSara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Suhail Nayyar and Aashim Gulati in the lead roles.The film revolves around a gripping case with seven suspects, each with a possible motive linking them to the crime at The Royal Delhi Club. Pankaj Tripathi plays the role of an Investigating Officer, tasked with solving this intricate murder mystery, as per a release from the film's PR team.The film marks the first collaboration of Tripathi and Adajania.Sharing his experience of working with Pankaj TripathiHomi Adajania said in a statement from the film's PR team, "Directing such an intuitive actor was a joy, but getting to know someone like Pankaj is what I cherish. On Murder Mubarak we'd sit after wrapping the shoot and regale each other with so many stories of the various journeys we've experienced and I realised that however different we are, we are so similar at the core. I also realised that there's an inherent goodness which we look for in people, and with Pankaj the positivity and sensitivity is what he's about! I'm really grateful we had this experience and I know that I've come out of it a better person for it."'Murder Mubarak' is based on Anuja Chauhan's novel 'Club You To Death'. The murder mystery has been directed by Homi Adajania and it has been produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films.The film will stream on the OTT platform Netflix from March 15.

On Monday, the makers unveiled the film's promo, leaving netizens intrigued. Sanjay Kapoor, Vijay Varma, Tisca Chopra, Dimple Kapadia and Suhail Nayyar are also a part of the film.In the promo, Pankaj Tripathi can be seen essaying the role of a non-traditional cop who is involved in a murder investigation.Homi Adajania has helmed the flm.Sharing more details about 'Murder Mubarak', Homi Adajania in a statement said,"Murder Mubarak is a cinematic concoction of actors that are loved across genres and generations and believe me each one of them has done such a fab job in bringing these eccentric characters to life. Sanjay Kapoor, who is known for his work in 'The Fame Game', 'Bloody Daddy' and many more, is recently seen in Sriram Raghavan's 'Merry Christmas', starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.Kapoor shared his working experience with the director and what made him say, 'yes' to the film.He said, "I got a call from Sriram sir regarding a film which he wanted me to be a part of called 'Merry Christmas', and on my way to his office, I was hoping my role is good because I love him and the work he has done, be it 'Badlapur', 'Johnny Gaddaar', 'Ek Hasina Thi' or 'Andhadhun'. I have been an ardent fan of Sriram Raghavan kind of cinema."While sharing what made him join the cast of the movie, he added, "When he narrated to me the script of 'Merry Christmas' and my character in the film, I knew it's a thriller but once my character comes in the second half, he changes the course of the film. It's a very colourful role and I knew it would benefit me. I was very confident about the way it would be directed by Sriram sir. Sanjay Kapoor talked about his grey hair look and the way he prepared himself for his role in the movie 'Bloody Daddy," starring Shahid Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia, and Vivan Bhatena.He said, "My character is negative, but he is a bit quirky, and whenever you see him, there will be a smile on your face because he is not funny, but the situations and scenes are like that. It's a suave kind of role, cool, and never done before. Everybody has loved the look, also because it's a stylized film, and when you get the look correct, it's half the battle won."Sanjay further elaborated, "The look fits the part played by my character Hamid.
