Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], April 17 : After 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar', producer and filmmaker Sandeep Singh is all set to come up with a new project, based on soldiers.During his visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, Sandeep Singh shared details about his upcoming series with ANI.He said, "I am making a series on soldiers. It is a 200-episode series, all of which are being shot in J&K. Indoor as well as outdoor shoots all will be done here in Kashmir only. I have cast a very famous local actor Touseef Mir in my series. This is the first time I am officially announcing that I have cast him in the series. The youth of Kashmir are very driven, and they can do wonders in life if guided correctly. I would like to conduct workshops on music, acting, writing, and direction in schools and colleges."On his first visit to Kashmir, he said, "This is the first time I've come to Kashmir... Everyone from Bollywood should come to Kashmir and shoot their projects here. The people, the environment, the food, and the weather here are very nice. After Article 370, a lot has changed in Kashmir. The people have been talking about before and after the abrogation of Article 370. People can now stay out and enjoy till late at night... I would like to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah that they have now let the people of Kashmir breathe. They have paid the maximum attention to J&K. The first season of Squid Game has officially became the Netflixs most-watched show or film ever, with 1.6 billion hours viewed. Netflix on Tuesday rolled out a new website that measures its most-viewed films and series by the amount of hours users spend watching them.According to the streaming services new metric, Rawson Marshall Thurbers Red Notice, starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, has also been watched for 148.7 million hours globally since it debuted November 12 on Netflix. In the past week, the most popular series was season three of Narcos: Mexico, with 50.3 million hours viewed.Every Tuesday, Netflix will update the site Top 10 on Netflix with the top 10 series and films on the streaming service. Until now, Netflix has been selective in sharing viewership data. It has occasionally shared views for hits, and it logs a top 10 list, without data, on the service, itself. Though the hours-viewed metric replaces Netflixs previous views, which could count just a few minutes of a movie or series. Other major streaming services, like Amazon Prime Video and Disney+, dont regularly release viewership data.The streamers metrics still dont say how many people actually watched something on the service, and it doesnt include films or series that fall outside of its top 10. But its the most transparent measurement so far embraced by Netflix. Netflix will publish both English and non-English rankings, and top-10 lists for more than 90 countries. The company said that it has hired the accounting firm EY to audit its figures.At its current rate, Red Notice, which received largely poor reviews from critics, could become Netflixs most popular film ever. That title currently is held by the 2018 Sandra Bullock thriller Bird Box, with 282 million hours viewed.

The Wall Street Journal first reported the news of Hello Sunshine's sale.According to WSJ, Witherspoon said in a statement, Today marks a tremendous moment for Hello Sunshine. I started this company to change the way all women are seen in media in the past few years. We have watched our mission is thrive through books, TV, films, and social platforms. Today we are taking a huge step forward by partnering with Blackstone, which will enable us to tell even more impactful, entertaining and nominating stories about women's lives, globally.Hello Sunshine was founded in 2016. Witherspoon and Sarah Harden, the companys CEO, will join the board of the new company and will also oversee day-to-day operations. According to WSJ, Blackstone paid more than $500 million in cash to buy shared of Hello Sunshine.

Crazy Rich Asians star Michelle Yeoh has joined the cast of Netflix's The Witcher: Blood Origin, a limited live-action prequel series to the Henry Cavill-led show adaptation. The series is set in an elven world 1200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin will tell the story of the creation of the prototype Witcher, and the events that lead to the pivotal Conjunction of the Spheres.Netflix announced, Michelle Yeoh is joining the cast of The Witcher: Blood Origin as the sword-elf Scian, whose deadly quest to retrieve a stolen sacred sword will lead her on a journey that will change the outcome of the Continent. She joins Laurence OFuarain in the cast, who will star in the role of Fjall, a warrior who finds himself fighting beside the most unlikely of allies as he carves a path of vengeance across a continent in turmoil.Born into a clan of warriors sworn to protect a king, Fjall carries a deep scar within the death of a loved one who fell in battle trying to save him. It is entitled Yaar Julahay, a series of dramatic readings spread across 12 episodes The name of the series is inspired by a Gulzar poem and pays a tribute to writers who craft stories with the deftness of master weavers. The first episode featuring Mahira Khan will air on May 15, 2021, on Tata Sky Theatre at 2pm and 8 pm. Mahira will be reading Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi's classic story, 'Guriya.'Guriya highlights the story of two best friends Mehra and Bano. Bano has a doll (Guriya) that resembles Mehra but Mehra doesn't like that doll at all. With time their fondness and hate for the doll grows many folds.
