The gorgeous Shazahn Padamsee, who was last seen in the multi starrer film Housefull 2 , will now be seen in a musical titled Legend Of Lovers, which will be directed by her illustrious father Alyque Padamsee.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama about the musical, Shazahn Padamsee (who will be working with her father for the first time), said, "When we decided to work on a project together, we looked at a lot of scripts and nothing excited us as much as this extremely unique story based on love, life & death. In Legend Of Lovers, I play the protagonist of the story named Eurydice. She is a girl, who is, unlike any other girl you've seen. She is very fairy-esque and has a lot of interesting shades to her character. The colour of her eyes changes when she isn't truthful and she floats above the ground instead of walking. There is a lot of stage magic and effects which will be happening live as well. It's going to be an audio visual treat for the senses! A musical like you've never seen before. This project is my baby and I have worked hard on putting every aspect of this production together, it is literally been a crash course in acting, producing and creating. I've had a blast!".

The first show will be held in June at Sophia College, Mumbai.

The title of Saurabh Varma's next Meet The Patels has been changed after the US based company Billion Pictures which has produced a documentary by the same name, sent a legal communication to Krian Media, producers of the Shiv Pandit, Ali Asgar, Shazahn Padamsee, Ketan Singh and Vaishali Desai starrer family comedy.

Says a source, "The Indian-American Meet The Patels is a 88mins documentary film which has travelled to few film festivals. Krian Media had registered the title with IFTPC (earlier called AMPTTP) without being aware of the documentary. There have been several instances anyway where we have similar names of films in India and abroad. Example: Avatar and recently Action Jackson " When asked, director Saurabh Varma, he says, "We are legally sorted as our title is registered with IFTPC but we have chosen to change it voluntarily. We actually consider this notice as a compliment because this indicates that there is awareness about our film. The new title Solid Patels captures the quirkiness and madness of our film." While Varma's film will release in April next year, the first trailer of the film will be released with PK in theatres. The entire film has been shot in a month, in a start-to-finish schedule and the post production is in full swing.

Shazahn Padamsee, popularly known for films like Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year and Housefull 2 , will now be seen in Saurabh Varma's Meet The Patels. The actress will be romancing the film's male lead Shiv Pandit.

Excited about the project, Shazahn mentioned that when she read the script, she couldn't stop laughing and hence decided to be a part of the film. Tweeting about the same Shazahn posted, "#?MeetThePatels? is directed by @VarmaSaurabh and I'm opposite @Shiv_Pandit in the film. Waiting for the madness to begin! ?#?excitedmuch?". She further revealed that this character will be a very different one compared to her other roles and she will be seen aging from 22 to 50 years in the film. Further adding about her role in the film, director Saurabh Varma stated that Shazahn's name in the film will be Hetal Gandhi and she plays a contemporary character with quirky habits.

Produced by Krian Media, Meet The Patels is slated to release on April 24, 2015.

Rajat Bharmecha of Udaan fame, Manjot Singh and Shazahn Padamsee won't like this one bit. But the star-pig who plays the fourth protagonist in their rom-com Disco Valley will be paid a larger remuneration than the human actors.

And the pig has not come into the picture without heartaches and tantrums. Apparently, the original plan of importing a trained pig from Australia had to be dropped because of the cost factor.

Apparently the pig, if air-hopped from Australia to Fiji (where the film will be shot) would have cost the producer more than the budget of the entire film.

The film's producer Siddharth Jain met Fiji's Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama who offered to help with the pig crisis.

Recalling his harrowing experience Jain said, "When we decided to make a pig as a pivotal character, we never realized it would be so expensive. More than the cost of hiring a pig, maintaining it every day was too expensive. So instead of hiring the pig we decided to buy it outright and get a pig trainer."

Then began the next stretch of problems. "We wanted a small cute pig. So we paid the price of over-sized pig for a small one. Then we realized that the pig was temperamental. So we hired two identical pigs, so that if one is not in mood to give his shot, the other can step in. Quite like the two babies that Sajid Khan used in Heyy Babyy."

Jain is grateful to the Prime Minister of Fiji for offering assistance with the pig situation. "He offered that we use local Fiji pigs instead of bringing them from Australia."

Apparently all this constant attention to the pigs has not gone down well with the human actors in Disco Valley. We hear Bharmecha and Manjot have made their displeasure very clear to the producer.

Says Jain, "It can't be helped. Having a pig as one of the main characters is not the same as a dog or an elephant in a film. No one knows how pigs behave. There's no pattern-history. So we are all moving cautiously."

Apparently, the pig is required to accompany the main human characters everywhere. It even has conversations with the cast. And has a fight sequence of its own at the end.
