Film director, writer and producer Anubhav Sinha who has two films lined up for release this year, Mulk and Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai , took a mini work vacation to Bollywoods favourite destination, London last week. Sinha who has shot over 200 music videos till date, will be directing a series of music singles for Anurag Bedi of Zee Music,inspired by American film series Fifty Shades Of Grey.Each video aesthetically shot will touch upon the various shades of love such as yearning, fantasy, desire, infatuation. Bringing to life Sinhas vision in the first two of these videos will be Jannat fame actress Sonal Chauhan who is busy shooting for Mahesh Manjrekars period based drama. New talentwill be contributing to the music of the series which will release towards the latter half the year. The next three videos will feature Amyra Dastur who Sinha is in talks with. Speaking on the same, Anubhav Sinha said, It has been indeed a long time since I have directed a music video and since both my forthcoming films have no quintessential Bollywood song and dance I thought it would be nice to satiate my long pending desire before I start shooting for my next film. I feel love today is a highly misunderstood and underrated concept and while India is known to be home to the Kamasutra, the common man shies away from this beautiful masterpiece as its still considered a taboo topic. I wanted to explore various shades of this wonderful emotion which seems to have acquired new meanings today. Sonal Chauhan was the ideal mix of grace, panache and appeal. Each single will touch upon a topic while the entire series will be called 5 Shades Of Love. Anubhav Sinha has wrapped uptwo of his mainstream projects within a span of six months and who will resume directing his next starting later this year.

Mahesh Manjrekar is back on the filmmaking circuit with his next Hindi directorial. We had earlier reported that the filmmaker has roped in Shruti Haasan and Vidyut Jammwal for his next and the filming has already begun. Now, Sonal Chauhan has joined the cast in Goa. The actress will kick off the shooting this week. The yet-untitled film will follow the story of Vidyut Jammwal, who plays the role of NRI, who finds solace in Sonal Chauhans character as the matters get worse. As reported earlier, Vidyut Jammwal will play the role of an NRI businessman. As he returns to his hometown in Mumbai, he realizes how his world has turned completely upside down. Shruti Haasan plays Vidyuts love interest and their romance creates more drama between two warring families. Written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the movie is produced by Vijay Galani & Pratik Galani Banner Galani Entertainments. Shruti Haasan was last seen in the Bollywood film Behen Hogi Teri opposite Rajkummar Rao. Vidyut Jammwal was last seen in Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi starrer Baadshaho.Besides this, the Jannat girl Sonal Chauhan will be seen in JP Duttas multi-starrer Paltan.The film stars Arjun Rampal , Siddhanth Kapoor, Harshavardhan Rane, Gurmeet Chaudhary, Esha Gupta and Dipika Kakkar. The Jannat girl Sonal Chauhan made waves when she played the girl next door character in the film. Since then, the actress has not starred in many Hindi films. But, it had been a while since she starred in a mainstream film. Sonal has been busy doing films in Telugu and Tamil industry. Her last outing in Hindi films was 3G.Now, Sonal Chauhan is finally coming back and with a war drama. Sonal Chauhan has been roped in to star in JP Duttas Paltan.Announcing the same on her Instagram, she wrote, And Ive joined the #PALTAN.So honoured to be a part of this massive film at so many levels. Firstly coz Im getting to work with the legendary director Mr. J.P. Dutta n the entire team. Ive always had immense respect for our Indian Army. This is a tribute to all our #REALHEROES who are always out there risking their lives for our safety. #jaihind. Just this morning, it was announced that Esha Gupta will also be starring in this multi-starrer war drama. She will essay the role of Arjun Rampal s wife who is a Lieutenant Colonel. Based on Indian- Sino war in 1962, Paltan stars Arjun Rampal, Luv Sinha, Harshvardhan Rane, Siddhant Kapoor and Gurmeet Chaudhary in pivotal roles.

For all those who have been missing the beautiful Sonal Chauhan on the silver screen, here is some good news for you. Sonal Chauhan will now be soon seen in the Arbaaz Khan starrer Kalpanik . If the buzz is to be believed, then, Kalpanik will be directed by debutante Rajesh Nair and will be produced by Samir Ingle. Reports also state that Sonal Chauhan had replaced Chitrangda Singh, who had agreed to do the film initially. But for reasons best known to her, she walked out of the film.

While the rest of the cast is yet to be announced, do watch this space for developments.

Earlier we had reported that Riteish Deshmukh had opted out of the third installment in the Masti series, only to return back to the film. While the rest of the cast of the film titled Great Grand Masti , namely Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasini remain the same; the lead actresses paired alongside them was unknown. Now we hear that the Jannat girl Sonal Chauhan who was last seen in the less than memorable film 3G, alongside Neil Nitin Mukesh has been roped in to essay the lead role.

When contacted Sonal refrained to comment on the same saying, "I cannot talk about this right now." On the other hand, writer Tushar Hiranandani denied the report stating, "No, Sonal isn't cast for the film, in fact we are still going through the casting process for the female leads." Further we hear that the Adhikari brothers, Makrand Adhikari and Gautam Adhikari who started the broadcast channel SAB TV will be coming on board for the film as co-producers along with Balaji and Ashoke Thakaria.

As for the film itself Great Grand Masti is slated to go on floors this year.

In the past, actresses like Kareena Kapoor and Juhi Chawla have tried their hand at singing for their films. Recently, Priyanka Chopra also launched her own international single. Now Sonal Chauhan seems to be following in their footsteps.

Sonal has crooned a song in her forthcoming film 3G which stars Neil Nitin Mukesh. The song ' Kaise Bataoon' is a romantic melody sung by Sonal along with singer K.K.

One wonders if this is a one-off instance or whether Sonal will be singing some songs in the future as well.
