Vashu Bhagnani's words efficiently sum up his dream of leaving a global footprint of the illustrious Indian cinema with his film studio in the UK.Touted as "one-stop-shop", Bhagnani's Pooja Studios emerged as one of the most film-friendly shooting hubs lately. Built over three years ago in the UK, the studio is spread over a large area in the UK's Luton. It is just "36 miles from London."The studio has enabled the shoot for Akshay Kumar-starrers 'Bellbottom' and 'Mission Raniganj', Rakul Preet Singh's 'Cuttputlli' and Ajay Devgn's latest 'Shaitaan' so far. Speaking to ANI, Bhagnani opened up about his studio in detail." I am a dreamer. At the age of 57, I decided that I would go to London and set up a studio there. Not many people know that I have a studio in the UK. Movies like Bellbottom, Mission Raniganj were filmed at my studio. All coal mine scenes in Raniganj were shot at Pooja Studios. In fact, the scenes portrayed as Dubai and Pakistan in Bellbottom were actually shot at our studio in UK. Almost 80 per cent of Shaitaan was shot there...the big farmhouse which you saw in Shaitaan was created at my studio only," he shared." Over 400 people from India travelled to UK for the shoot of 'Ganapath' and 'Raniganj'. Also, one of my main reasons for establishing this studio was to create jobs for my Indian people and make them explore the world... It's my dream to be a good developer as well," he added.Bhagnani also explained what made him establish the film studio abroad." In India, we sometimes face security issues as people come in large numbers on sets ... so it becomes difficult for us to shoot," he said, emphasising he is a true blue Indian and is aiming to make Indian cinema reach different parts of the world."I would be lying if I say I am not getting monetary benefits from this studio but my utmost priority is to help my fellow colleagues in the Indian film industry by providing them with a studio which has all the facilities. From best equipment to spacious area and food, the studio has everything. I have put my heart and soul in establishing this studio. It is like a one-stop shop. Come inside you will get everything...1947 se phle Britishers humare yaha aaye the aur ab mujhe unke yaha is studio ke zariye ek Hindustan UK mein banana hai," Bhagnani said.However, it was not easy for the 'Coolie No. 1' producer to create his studio on the foreign soil."Filmmaking is not an easy business. We all have to take risks...From trucks, bikes to little little equipment, we transported everything from India to there...It's a pain but we did it. I am working in the UK but for India only," Bhagnani added.Bhagnani's passion for cinema knows no bounds. His studio is relatively new but has managed to find a strong foothold in the filmmaking business. In the coming months, Shahid Kapoor's Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues will also go on floors there."This year we will also start shooting for Shahid's Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues at our Pooja Studios .. maybe in May or June," Bhagnani revealed. Several scenes of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-starrer upcoming film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' have been shot at Bhagnani's UK studio.

She added, "The entire trial was a mockery of the judiciary system. The court was following a higher court order, pre-trial, the path they predetermined for the trial court to follow to give an acquittal to the accused only to close the case. In long ten years both the agencies of India- the police and CBI did not find one single piece of legally relevant evidence for suicide, it requires convincing evidence of an accused having directly driven the victim to commit suicide immediately before the act, and prove any abetment of suicide allegations against the accused Sooraj Pancholi. The burden of proof was so high, all the parties involved must have known the outcome but none of it made legally or rationally any sense."The statement also stated, "During the trial it was soon obvious to me that CBI and the prosecution had been compromised, because they never established the actual cause of death. Let me repeat this: The actual cause of Jiah's death was never established. No evidence were sent for forensic analysis by the court, Instead, the CBI simply used the preliminary finding of the police appointed post-mortem report as the cause of death "due to asphyxia."Rabia said that Sooraj "lied through his teeth.""Sooraj was an accused and he lied through his teeth and both the agencies throughout honoured his lies for reasons best known to them. My daughter Jiah who is no more to speak for self was blamed, because that was very convenient for both agencies to blame the dead. Not only as mother but as a woman I feel disappointed that yet again the system that we expect to protect us and serve us justice has failed us and made a mockery of its own system," she continued.Jiah's mother also called out Sooraj for celebrating the trial win.She said, "The fact that he handed out sweets outside the courtroom illustrates this and sums up his mercilessness. Sooraj will one day have to grapple with the demons that he walks with. I have made peace with the loss of my daughter and I leave to God to administer justice on whoever murdered my daughter."The 25-year-old 'Nishabd' actor was found dead at her Juhu home in Mumbai on June 3, 2013. Police later arrested Sooraj on the basis of a six-page letter, purportedly written by Jiah, and booked him for abetment to suicide.Sooraj was in an alleged relationship with Jiah.Rabia alleged that her daughter was murdered. In October 2013, she moved Bombay High Court seeking a CBI probe in the case, alleging that her daughter had been murdered.On the order of the Bombay High Court, the CBI took over the probe from the Maharashtra Police in July 2014. Rabia claimed that her daughter was in an abusive relationship with Sooraj, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab.However, on April 28, Sooraj was finally cleared of all the charges by the CBI court in Mumbai.

I joked about the bin bulaye mehmaan at her doorstep and she laughed, Wohi to dekhiye na, Subhashji. Mujhe kahan se ho gayamujhe samajh mein nahin aa raha hai (I dont know where I got it from. But it doesnt matter. I will fight this, like Ive fought all my battles in life. Hopefully Ill be back shooting for Anupama sooner than expected.How is she feeling? Well, as of now I feel no symptoms. I hope I dont feel any symptoms ahead also. But the doctors have given me so many medicines. I am not feeling ill with Covid. But I think I am going to fall ill because of those medicines. Mujhe dawaiyan khaane ki aadat nahin hai (I am not used to taking medicines).Rupali has a young son, whose health and safety she is worried about. I got my sons Covid test done this morning. Reports are awaited. I also got my husband and the entire staff in my house tested. Hopefully they will be all clear.Rupali has isolated herself away from her family. I have quarantined myself in our cottage in Araam Nagar. So I am not with my family. I am all alone. I am absolutely away from civilization, with just my dogs for company. My only stress is that my family should not be tested positive. Everything else is fine.In the meanwhile the shooting of Anupama continues without Rupali. Which is a bit like Agra without the Taj Mahal.

Jiah Khan, best remembered for her film Nishabd opposite Amitabh Bachchan, committed suicide at her Juhu residence on Monday night. Reports suggest that the 25 year old actress hung herself, due to depression.

Born and raised in London, Jiah, also known as Nafisa, shifted to India to pursue a career in acting. She also starred in Aamir Khan's Ghajini and Akshay Kumar's Housefull. According to police reports, Jiah ended her life around 11 pm; however she did not leave a suicide note.
