American actor, rapper, and singer Utkarsh Ambudkar, who stars in CBS breakout comedy Ghosts, has now set a feature film that he conceived, co-wrote, produced and is also co-starring in at Disney+.Free Guy star Utkarsh Ambudkar sets a rap musical comedy feature at Disney+According to a Deadline report, the actor who appeared in Hulus Theranos drama series The Dropout will now helm, co-write, produce and star in the feature film Worlds Best that tells the story of a young math kid who vows to become the worlds best MC. Roshan Sethi, who made his feature directorial debut with 7 Days, the 2022 Independent Spirit Award winner for Best First Feature, directs. Principal photography starts in May.Worlds Best follows 12-year-old Prem, played by Magnus, as he navigates life as that junior high kid in the high school math class. After his best friend Jerome abandons him for the popular group, Prem never feels more alone, despite the support of his mother Priya (Patel). But when Prem discovers that his late father Suresh (Ambudkar) was a great rapper, his new destiny is sealed. With renewed purpose (and some helpful, albeit imaginary, appearances from Suresh), Prem vows to break out of the mold of math kid and become the worlds best MC.The upcoming feature co-stars I Love That For Yous Punam Patel, who previously worked with Ambudkar on Netflixs Special and also played his sister on Ghosts, and Manny Magnus, who stars in Amazons I Want You Back. The actor hesitantly replied, Yes, he is coming back to Loki. And I think were gonna start filming that pretty soon.I had a great time working on Loki. I really enjoyed Tom Hiddleston and all the people on that, he added.While the first season ended back in July with a cliffhanger ending, leaving fans anxiously waiting for news on the next season, they can finally rejoice as it appears season two will start shooting soon. The storyline of Loki season 2 has yet to be confirmed but Tom Hiddleston as God of Mischief Loki, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer and Owen Wilson as Mobius are set to reprise their roles.As Collider mentions, the last time we saw Lokihis other half Sylvie betrayed him leading to the destruction of the literal timeline. When Loki gets portaled back to the TVA he ends up in a different timeline where he and Mobius did not become friends, so it will be interesting to see where the show takes their relationship in season two.Loki is a television series created by Michael Waldron for the streaming service Disney+, based on Marvel Comics featuring the character of the same name. It is the third television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The series takes place after the events of the film Avengers: Endgame (2019), in which an alternate version of Loki created a new timeline.

The Oscar winner Russell Crowe is all set to join Sonys Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter. Crowe will star alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who last year signed a multipicture deal to play the titular antihero.Story details, including Crowes role, are being kept under wraps, but many of the main characters are said to be Kravens family members, according to The Hollywood Reporter.Kraven, who is one of Spider-Mans best-known nemeses, made his comic debut all the way back in 1964s The Amazing Spider-ManNo. 15, with the character created by Spider-Man co-creators Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. The Russian big-game hunter decided to target the most dangerous foe he could imagine: Spider-Man. Over his long tenure in the comics, Kraven is perhaps best known for the classic 1980s storyline Kravens Last Hunt, in which the villain succeeds in defeating Spider-Man, burying him alive, and assuming his identity.Kraven the Hunter is one of a number of projects in development as the studio builds out its Sony Universe of Marvel Characters. Sony, which controls the film rights to Spider-Man and other related characters, has already released Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) and has the Jared Leto starrer Morbius due out in April. The studio is also developing a Madame Web movie with Dakota Johnson attached to star.J.C. Chandor is directing the film from a screenplay by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing.Kraven the Hunter will be Crowes second entr e into Marvel filmmaking. On the Disney side, the actor is set to play Zeus in Taika Waititis Thor: Love and Thunder, opening in July. His other upcoming onscreen roles include Apple and Skydances The Greatest Beer RunEver, and he is currently directing Poker Face, which he also stars in alongside Liam Hemsworth and RZA.The first film of the multipicture deal, Kraven the Hunter is slated for January 13, 2023, release.

American actor and comedian Tim Allen is all set to reprise his role as Scott Calvin/Santa in the limited series based on the Santa Clause films which he is going to executive produce as well.According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project from Disney Branded Television and 20th Television reunites Allen with Last Man Standing creator Jack Burditt and exec producer Kevin Hench.The Santa Clause series will find Scott approaching his 65th birthday and realizing he cant be Santa forever. Hes starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, hes got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in life.The Santa Clause opened in 1994 and spawned sequels in 2002 and 2006. All three movies were successful, making a combined $474 million at the box office worldwide.Burditt, whose credits includes shows like 30 Rock and Modern Family, will serve as show runner on the series. He executive produces with Allen, Hench, Richard Baker and Rick Messina. Baker and Messina produced the first two Santa Clause films.Production of the series is scheduled to begin in March.

Marvels WandaVision spin-off starring Kathryn Hahn is reportedly in development at the Disney+ from Marvel Studios. Hahn would be reprising her role of Agatha Harkness in the series, which is described by as a dark comedy, though exact plot details remain under wraps.According to Variety,WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer will serve as the writer and executive producer of the under development project. The spin-off will be the first project Schaeffer has set up with Marvel since she signed an overall deal with them in May.Hahn started out playing the role of Agnes, Wanda and Visions nosy neighbor, before it was revealed she was in fact Agatha, a powerful witch. In the Marvel comics and the series, Agatha is shown to have survived the Salem Witch Trials and is more than a match for Wanda, a.k.a. Scarlet Witch.In the finale of WandaVision, Wanda traps Agatha in Westview by using her powers to force her revert to her Agnes persona.WandaVision was aired earlier this year from January-March marking the first live-action Marvel series to debut on Disney+ which met with widespread acclaim upon its debut. It also racked up 23 Emmy nominations.Variety also reported that Hahn will star in a limited series in development at Showtime centered on iconic comedian Joan Rivers.On the work front, Kathryn Hahns upcoming projects include the Apple series The Shrink Next Door and the Rian Johnson feature Knives Out 2. Along with WandaVision, she previously earned an Emmy nomination for her time on Amazons Transparent.Schaeffer is also known for writing, directing, and producing the feature TiMER and also wrote the animated short Olafs Frozen Adventure and the feature The Hustle starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson. She also worked on the story for the Marvel feature Black Widow.

Reports that have suggested that the She-Hulk series at Disney + is in works. Now, it is confirmed that Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany will be seen in the lead role in the upcoming Marvel series.On Tuesday, September 15, Deadline confirmed that Kat Coiro will be helming the series including the pilot. According to the report on September 18, "Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany is the choice to play the title character in Marvels She-Hulk series for Disney+. Deadline broke on Tuesday that Coiro would direct several episodes, including the pilot, for the series and now the show has its actress for the highly coveted role."Mark Ruffalo was quick to welcome Tatiana in the Marvel universe. "Welcome to the family, cuz! @tatianamaslany #SheHulk," he wrote on Twitter on Thursday.The actor had attended C2E2 in Chicago and during his panel, Mark Ruffalo confirmed that he is in early talks for the Disney + series and might return as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. While the rest of the details have been kept under wraps, it is unclear whether the actor will be a guest star or a series regular in this upcoming series.According to the comics, lawyer Jennifer Susan Walters developed Hulk-like abilities when she received a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner. Now, it seems like this might be a great segway for the actor to return to the Marvel universe.Disney + with Marvel will be launching many series including The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki.
