R Madhavans Rocketry: The Nambi Effect brings out the significant changes in the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan
Ever since R Madhavan announced his directorial debut with Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, there has been a lot of buzz around the biographical drama which is based on the infamous 1994 espionage case. From the time the film has gone on floors, there have been some very significant changes in Scientist Nambi Narayanan’s life. And these changes that have been for the good have only gotten more focus to the scientist & his achievements and highlighted the recent developments which have taken place.For those who don’t know, Nambi Narayanan who was in-charge of the cryogenics department at ISRO was accused of selling some vital secrets related to Indian space technology to Pakistan. While he faced imprisonment for 50 days along with four other fellow scientists, in 1998 the CBI acquitted Narayanan of the accusations. However, his legal battle continued for being wrongly framed in the case with false charges and in 2017 when Madhavan announced the film based on this case, a lot more focus shifted on the man. Though the people belonging to the state of Kerala were aware of Mr Narayanan and his achievements, with the announcement of the film it has created more curiosity and awareness about his life and achievements.Recently Mr Narayanan was offered an additional compensation of  Rs. 1.30 Crore by the Kerala Government to settle the two-and-half-decade-old spy case in which he was implicated by the state police. While in the year 2018, post the project announcement the Supreme Court ordered that his arrest was unnecessary and granted him an Interim relief of 50 lakhs. In 2019, Nambi Narayanan was also conferred with a Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award. However, there is still a lot more to be known about the man that Madhavan will bring out through his story on the scientist.Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will show Madhavan portray Narayanan’s life from the 27 to 75 years of age, and while the shooting has been completed, the film is currently in the post-production stage.

It is for certain that Adi will announce the massive slate of YRF on this date. It will be the biggest slate put together by any studio till date. So, all eyes on September 27th to see the plans that Adi announces. It will certainly be of epic proportions given the history of the company and the contribution this company has made in the history of Indian cinema. From giving iconic films that have shaped the Hindi film industry to discovering and giving birth to superstars who have ruled the industry across all decades, the legacy of YRF is too rich. The celebrations, thus, will be equally grand.”

It is most likely that Sushant Singh Rajput will be honoured at this year’s National awards in a very special way. Though the exact nature of the honour is yet to be decided sources close to the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting reveal that the nature and extent of the posthumous recognition will be formulated soon.Says a source from the Government, “Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has shaken the entire film fraternity. While his life is being celebrated so passionately after his death his work as an actor didn’t get the same recognition during his lifetime. This imbalance must be corrected.”While a festival of Sushant Singh Rajput’s films is being planned separately by the Government, the National awards will bestow a special award in honour for his contribution to Indian cinema.

On the occasion of Independence Day, the California State Assembly recognised Sushant Singh Rajput for his contribution to cinema and the community.The certificate was received by the late actor's sister Shweta Singh Kirti. Shweta took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of herself posing with the certificate. "On the occasion of Indian Independence Day California recognizes my brother’s (Sushant) overall contribution to society. California is with us.... are you? Thanks for your support California," she wrote.

When the country was put under a nationwide lockdown in March, actor Salman Khan was at his farmhouse in Panvel. The actor continued to live there until he came back a week ago for work. Salman Khan was active on social media during his stay at the farmhouse and shared glimpses from his quaint life at Arpita Farms. The superstar had shot for the teaser of Bigg Boss 14 in Panvel and then headed to the city on Wednesday to shoot for three promos of the show. The teaser Salman Khan shot for at the farmhouse was aired earlier this week. Reportedly, after the first promo, Salman suggested to the channel that the remaining promos be shot in Mumbai. The shoot was held at the Mehboob Studios which is close to the actor's residence. The Bharat actor arrived in the city by afternoon and shot for three hours before heading home to meet his parents. By night the actor headed back to Panvel. As per reports each of the promo is centred around the theme of Time Paltega which is the tagline for Bigg Boss 14.

On Friday, there were reports that stated sources in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) said that Sushant Singh Rajput was paying the EMIs of the flat occupied by actress Ankita Lokhande. Lokhande is the former girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput. The two dated for six years before parting ways in 2016. After the reports surfaced, Ankita took to her Twitter handle and shared screenshots of her bank statements to prove that she has been paying the EMI of her flat. Sharing several screenshots of her bank statement, she wrote, “Here i cease all the speculations.As transparent as I could be. My Flat's Registration as well as my Bank Statement's (01/01/19 to 01/03/20) highlighting the emi's being deducted from my account on monthly basis. There is nothing more I have to say". She shared bank statement from January 1, 2019 to March 1, 2020.

Only recently, Parth Samthaan joined the sets of Kasautii Zindagii Kay after recovering from Coronavirus. The actor had left for Pune to spend time with his family after testing negative for COVID-19 but landed himself in a legal soup since his residential society members did not appreciate him leaving despite being under containment. However, there are reports that Parth Samthaan who plays the protagonist Anurag Basu's role has apparently given his resignation letter.The actor wants to focus on his health and other projects and hence has decided to walk out of the show. Ekta Kapoor has been trying to convince him to stay back, but it looks like the actor has made up his mind. Along with him, Sahil Anand who plays the role of Anupam Sengupta, has also decided to quit the show. The production house has not yet accepted their resignation letter but the rumours are strong that the two have made their decision.If the reports are to be believed then the makers are on the lookout for another actor to step in the shows of Parth Samthaan.

Now, there are rumours doing rounds that Harsha Khanderparkar will be playing Mohena's role.If the reports are to be believed then Harsha has already shot for her promo along with Naksh, played by Shehzad Shaikh. Harsha was previously seen in RadhaKrishn and Pyaar Ka Dard Hai. Just a few episodes before the lockdown was imposed, Karan Singh Grover had made a re-entry on Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Mr. Bajaj. The show has already seen some major changes due after the lockdown including Karan Singh Grover being replaced by Karan Patel for the role of Mr. Bajaj. While this show marks Karan’s return on television, he decided to walk away from the role after the lockdown.In an interview with another portal, Karan Singh Grover opened up about why he chose to quit the show. He says that it wasn’t the makers decision, he would still be a part of the show if they didn’t require Mr. Bajaj to immediately begin shooting after the lockdown. In these trying times, there are a lot of apprehensions regarding shooting and it has been close to a month since the television industry started shooting again. Karan says that the makers needed Mr. Bajaj to be on screen and he understands that. So, he decided to walk away from the role.Karan Singh Grover will next be seen with Bipasha Basu in Dangerous, that will release on OTT.

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise has created a huge stir in the industry. As CBI is currently investigating the case, his family and some of the industry colleagues are ensuring to share new information about how he was as a person behind the spotlight. In the latest reveal, the actor was reportedly planning to move to Hollywood to pursue his dreams. He was also generating Rs. 50 crore, as per NDTV.“If you expect the audience to suspend disbelief, then you must do it first. How? Find the things the character likes, loves has sympathy for or at least understands. Every person must be striving for some goal that is positive for him,” the actor had written in his diary. The screenshots of it were shared on Republic TV and his sister shared close clips on her Instagram.“Massive upgrade in acting skills, language and culture,” he wrote. “Association with one of the top agencies in Hollywood, connection with top players,” he had written.He wanted to invest in energy set up, put together a team of writers to create new content, plans to upgrade cinema, education, and environment.Shweta Singh Kirti further wrote, “Somebody who had solid plans. Somebody who knew how to make his dreams into reality... somebody who was an eternal positivist! My brother I salute you!”Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. He was founding hanging in his Bandra flat.
