Vidya Balan finds her onscreen husband in Manav Kaul

While on one hand, Vidya Balan is eagerly awaiting the release of the hard hitting Begum Jaan on the other hand, she is also gearing up for the light hearted Tumhari Sulu.By now, we all know that, the film will see Vidya Balan playing the role of a late night RJ who speaks the lingo that one often hears in the local trains of Mumbai. Even though Vidya Balan was cast in the titular role in the film, the search was on for a man who was solid enough to play of Ashok, who happens to be her onscreen husband. The search ended recently when the films makers zeroed down on the well-known film and theatre actor and directorManav Kaul, who was signed to play Vidyas husband. Speaking about Manav Kaul, Tumhari Sulu s director Suresh Triveni said, Our search for the character of Ashok lasted for two months. We finally zeroed down on Manav, who is a fine, seasoned actor capable of blending into different roles. We were looking for someone solid opposite Vidya and Manav fits the bill to the tee. While the shooting of Tumhari Sulu begins later this month, Vidya balan will be shortly embarking on a final round of look tests and script readings to prep for the role. Additionally, she will also be taking dance lessons for her role. Tumhari Sulu is being produced by T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment.
