7 Jan 2013

Almost every second day, a case gets registered in Bollywood regarding copyright issues and plagiarism. Hence, it only makes sense to 'protect' your ideas.

That's the reason why Remo D'souza (choreographer cum director) has come up with a unique solution by copyrighting a few steps from the track 'Bezubaan'. The said track is a part of his forthcoming film ABCD - Any Body Can Dance. Talking about the step, Remo said that if a script and songs can have a copyright, then why can't dance sequences! He added that he doesn't want the step to be copied. And when asked if he is expecting the organizers of award function to pay him the royalties, Remo coolly replied that if he has the copyright of the steps, no will be able to perform the same steps on any stage. He also added that, if the organizers wished to, they can pay him royalty.
