Sanjay Gupta ropes in Hollywood action director for Jazbaa

A while back we had reported that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, contrary to reports of her making her comeback with Mani Ratnam's Tamil film, would in fact first be seen in Sanjay Gupta's next titled Jazbaa. Soon after, Aishwarya confirmed the development while making a statement at the Cannes Film Festival. Now we hear that Gupta has roped in known Hollywood action director Spiro Razatos to helm the action sequences in the film.

Spiro, who is best known for his work on films like Back to the Future (1985), Fast & Furious 6 (2013) and the more recently Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) , will be in the city for the film. Interestingly while Spiro has previously worked on Bollywood ventures like Kaante and My Name is Khan, this will be the first time that the action director will be in India for a shoot.

Jazbaa, which is said to be an action drama, will feature Aishwarya as the main lead, with two other male costars. Though details of the other cast members are yet to be finalized the film is expected to go on floors in early 2015.
