Deepika, Anushka, Bipasha in three way battle

25 Jun 2014

Bipasha Basu has now joined the battle which was earlier restricted to Deepika Padukone v/s Anushka Sharma. Her Creature would now be releasing on September 12, which is the same date for which Deepika's Finding Fanny and Anushka's NH10 have already been finalized. With each of the three films featuring these actresses in pivotal role, the clash becomes interesting and pretty unprecedented too.

"Reason being that none of the three films follows a conventional Bollywood norm.

Creature is a VFX laden affair on the lines of Godzilla and Jurassic Park, where a creature's presence in Bipasha's life creates havoc.

Finding Fanny is a film in English-Hindi language and is centered on the hunt of a woman named 'Fanny' (which by the way is not played by Deepika). On the other hand, even though the plot of NH10 is currently being kept under the wraps, there are hints around the narrative bearing similarities to Kill Bill, what with action ruling the roost," says an insider.

No wonder, for Bipasha, Deepika and Anushka, these are major films to showcase their talent in a setting that defies norms. Incidentally, release date of each of the three films has been juggled around for some time as the makers were looking for the best time period of release.

While Bhushan Kumar has confirmed that Creature would indeed arrive on September 12, others are not changing their plans at least as of now. When contacted, Eros (which is producing NH10 along with Anushka Sharma) and Fox (which is bringing Dinesh Vijan and Saif Ali Kha's Finding Fanny on screens) confirmed that their plans are unchanged for the respective films.

Incidentally, while Creature is Vikram Bhatt-Bipasha Basu's next outing after a superhit Raaz 3 , Deepika is reuniting with Homi Adajania after Cocktail . On the other hand, Navdeep Singh would be returning to direction after gaining critical acclaim with Manorama - Six Feet Under .This further makes the way clash between three high profile films all the more interesting.
