Canine's name to appear before Akshay Kumar's in opening credits of Entertainment

When the trailer of Entertainment hit the web, it left the audiences surprised since it portrayed Junior, the dog, as the hero of the film. Though dogs have played prominent roles in many films before ( Teri Meherbaniyan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun! etc ), Entertainment will be a comic caper, where the dog inherits the entire property of a wealthy man.

The film itself is named after the dog's character name ( Entertainment ) and now the makers have decided that the dog's real name will appear in the opening credits even before Akshay Kumar's name in the film. When quizzed director Farhad-Sajid on this sudden twist in the tale, Sajid said, "It was Akshay's idea completely, as Junior is the hero of the film and we thought amicably, it is justified too. Junior's name will appear first in the opening credits. Hats off to Akshay to have thought of this as this would be the first film in the recent years which would have Akshay's name second!" Entertainment also marks the directorial debut of Farhad-Sajid. However, the director duo has written some blockbusters in Bollywood that include Housefull 2, Golmaal 3, Singham etc. Produced by Tips and Pen India, Entertainment also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Krishna Abhishek, Sonu Sood, Prakash Raj, Johnny Lever among others. The film is slated to release on August 8.
