Shashi Kapoor hospitalized due to chest infection

The veteran actor Shashi Kapoor, who has been a part of some of the most memorable films in Bollywood, has been hospitalized at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, because of chest infection.

As per the news reports, Shashi Kapoor was hospitalized after he started complaining of cough and breathlessness. Since he has a history of chronic kidney disease (CKD), he has been admitted under the care of a nephrologist. Speaking about Shashi Kapoor's condition, Dr. Ram Narain (Executive Director, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital) said that, even though he is in the ICU, he is stable now and is on antibiotics.
