Diana Penty, Abhay Deol to star in Anand L. Rai's Happy Bhaag Jayegi

While Diana Penty debuted in Bollywood by playing the lead actress in Cocktail , it was Deepika Padukone who walked away with all the fame and accolades for the film. Now after staying away from the silver screen for about two years, Diana Penty has finally decided to give her Bollywood career another shot and has been signed by the Raanjhanaa fame filmmaker Anand L. Rai for his next production.

Titled Happy Bhaag Jayegi, Diana will be sharing screen space with actor Abhay Deol. The film in question which seems to be a comedy will be directed by writer Mudassar Aziz. We hear that it took a while for Anand L. Rai and Mudassar to convince Diana Penty about doing the film and ending her so called 'sabbatical'. Though Diana has been active on the modeling and endorsement circuit, the actress completely stayed away from doing Bollywood films for over two years.

The rest of the details of the film is still being kept under wraps, however, it has been learnt that Happy Bhaag Jayegi is slated to go on floor in mid 2015.
