Arunoday, Shreyas 'replaced' by Riteish and Pulkit in Bangistan

20 Jan 2015

Generally, the 'trend' in Bollywood is that, it's only towards the release of any film or immediately after the film's release that the old skeletons get dug out from the grave. But the case with the debutant director Karan Anshuman's Bangistan is slightly different. Even though the film is scheduled to release in April this year, there is news (read 'old skeletons) which has already come up with respect to the film. And the news is that prior to Excel Entertainment coming on board as the producer; the film had already gone on floors in the year 2012 and was being produced by a lesser known production house. If that wasn't enough, even the lead stars of the film were Arunoday Singh and Shreyas Talpade and not Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat (in the 'upgraded version'). But the sad part is that, the film got shelved due to 'some issues'.

Speaking about this, Shreyas said that he had signed a film with Karan Anshuman almost two years ago, but then, the film got shelved due to some production issues.
