Nawazuddin Siddiqui's film with Amy Jackson titled Ali

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently shooting for Sohail Khan's film with Amy Jackson. The film, Nawaz's first romantic comedy, is being shot in Delhi and Pune. So far the title has been kept under wraps.

But now it can be revealed that the film is titled Ali and Nawaz plays the title role. This would be the second title role he will be seen playing this year alongside Anurag Kashyap's Raman Raghav 2.0 . Says Nawaz, "No two roles offered to me so far have been more contrasting than Raman Raghav and Ali. It's like occupying two different worlds, two different civilizations. Shooting Ali with Sohail Khan is a happy experience." Nawaz and Sohail have become best of friends and would be working together again. "Yes, Sohail says he feels he has finally found an actor he can trust. We have a mutual understanding which translates into some really good work on screen." It seems 2016 is as important for Nawazuddin Siddiqui as 2015.
