Dabangg 2 song copied from Teesri Kasam?

The upcoming Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Dabanng 2 which is being touted to make new records has landed in legal trouble just days before its release. In fact yesteryears lyricist and filmmaker Shailendra's family is unhappy with the song ' Pandeyjee Seeti Bajaye ' from Dabangg 2 . According to the lyricist's granddaughter Priyannkka Shaily Shailendra, the song has been inspired from the track ' Chalat Musafir ', composed by Shankar-Jaikishan for her grandfather's production, Teesri Kasam. Taking legal recourse to sort the matter she has sent a legal notice to the producers and associates of the film.

In a statement made to the media, Priyannkka says that apart from the first stanza, the tune for the rest of the song has been inspired from her grandfather's composition. However, on the other hand, composers Sajid-Wajid claim that they have used a folk tune for the said song and hence didn't buy the rights for the same.
