Bombay Talkies and Monsoon Shootout to be screened at Cannes

For those who thought that the firebrand actress Nandita Das was missing from the scene, heres some good news. And the good news is that Nandita Das will be part of the Cinefondation Short Film Jury that will be headed by the New Zealandian director Jane Campion.

There have been two Indian films which have been announced by Thierry Fremaux (Director- Cannes Film Festival) in Paris. And these two fims are Amit Kumars Monsoon Shootout (which stars Vijay Varma, Nawazuddin Siddiqi and Tannishtha Chatterjee in leading roles) and Bombay Talkies, thats being made jointly by Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar.
