With the recent trend of adding the tadka of rap in Bollywood music albums, Sanjay Kapoor too plans to make the music of his upcoming production Tevar a little peppy by roping in the Pakistani singer Imran Khan.

Imran Khan has given some of the top chartbusters like 'Amplifier' and 'Bewafa' which also has an element of Punjabi lyrics. Though he has been bombarded with many film offers in the past, Sanjay Kapoor will be the first producer Imran will be collaborating with. For the film Tevar, we hear that Imran will be composing and singing the song and the video of the same will also feature the film's leads Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. According to Sanjay, this song was important because it is supposedly the USP of the film. He also decided to rope in Imran because he believes that the singer has a larger fan base majorly consisting of the youth and hence, he can connect to the audience well.

Apart from the music, Tevar will also see Arjun Kapoor teaming up with his dad, producer Boney Kapoor, and the film is produced by his uncle Sanjay Kapoor.

Tevar is the official remake of the Telugu blockbuster Okkadu which starred Mahesh Babu, Bhumika Chawla and Prakash Raj. The film will see Arjun Kapoor playing the role of a Kabaddi player and Manoj Bajpayee will be playing the negative role in it.

2014 has already seen Arjun in two new avatars. While his Gunday with Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh, a Bollywood action packed entertainer, did fairly well at the box-office, the actor entered the 100 crore club with 2 States where he played a Punjabi engineering student who falls in love with his South Indian classmate (Alia Bhatt). The film was an adaptation of the Chetan Bhagat novel by the same name.
